Season Two’s endings / ‘A New Frontier’

At the end of my silent Season Two alternative playthrough, I chose to leave Wellington with Kenny and AJ. At the end of ‘A New Frontier’, I was able to save David and Gabe. This was my first time saving David. My question is: does choosing Kenny as a ‘father figure’ affect Clementine’s perspective of David as AJ’s ‘father figure’? If so, then are not individuals wrong to say that Season Two’s endings affected ‘A New Frontier’?

  • Are you asking if S2s ending/the entire game affects a few lines of dialogue Clem has, and nothing else about her? Then yes, S2 affects ANF.

  • I think they're asking if being with Kenny affects whether you get to save both David and Gabe or just Gabe.

  • Yes.

In that case no, as far as I know it comes down to three decisions(might be four) that you make in ANF.

    Yes.

  • Yes, during the bridge scene.

  • In the end of season 2 during my main play through I stayed at Wellington but in my alternative playthrough I ended up alone. Honestly I liked the alone ending more. In my third playthrough I ended up with Jane and told the family to leave. In my 4th playthrough I ended with Kenny and left Wellington with him. If I was 100% honest my favorite ending was the alone ending.
