I see there are issues regarding a price in certain areas of europe although I haven't encountered them. To be sure, I actually did a math and I compared Season 1 full price vs. TFS full price. Price per episode is exactly the same. This is not including a discount. With current pre-order discount price per episode for TFS is even smaller. I guess even if there was an issue, it was fixed in my region.
I'm from germany and the higher price for telltale's games is pretty annoying, because they changed it just recently with Minecraft Story Mode S1. Before that, they charged 4,99€ for an episode. Now, it's 6,49€ per episode. TFS now costs 23,99€, instead of 19,99€.

Yeah I don't think its happening so it looks like I won't be purchasing it from Steam.

The first episode is releasing in a week. Still no fix.
Perhaps there'll be an adjustment at some point this week or the weekend.

I don't know. Considering they haven't mentioned the pricing at all since the tweet, I wouldn't be surprised if they conveniently forgot about it.
