I loved this scene, but also kinda ruined Clem and Louis's chemistry unfortunately. I didn't realize saying no to his "did you ever have a BF" question would offend him but Clem answered it in a harsher tone that I thought. I thought it'd be more of a "no but I want one" over "Hell no, and I don't want one and I hope you die in flames" type of vibe it gave.
I think these types of deep inside looks to character development is what makes these games so incredible.
It was essentially the Luke table scene from Season 1, but with multiple characters, actual exchange of information between both sides, and a card game to hold it together.
I thought it was pretty cool, I also completly forgot about War, I used to play it a lot when I was a kid tbh.
Also, anyone else notice how that "Javier has a kid" leaker actually got a lot right in terms of like structure? Of the top of my head he got somethings right like eating dinner and playing a game and the whole spliting up groups to get supplies. Obviously not saying it was real but just kinda interesting. (also kinda reminds of that old "leaked credit music" for Tales Ep 5 that was Livin' Thing by ELO which ended up being in GOTG)
Am I going to get hurt if I make comparisons to the LiS:Before the Storm roleplaying game? Cause I won't if that's the case.
Speaking of LiS comparisons...
... we're not really going to have to water the flowers, are we?
I liked it a lot. Card games are always fun, and it was nice to be able to make various references (Lee, Carver, Javier, even bloody Gabe, etc.) It's one of the quieter moments I wish we saw more of.
I think the implication is she's being honest about eating the leg since I don't think there's an import flag that Lee stopped her. But she says it's a joke when she realizes how grossed out they are and Louis calls her out.

I loved that scene, and the callbacks to previous seasons were handled very well, it was certainly one of the episode’s top moments. My only criticism is that I wish Clem could have asked more serious questions about them, or the school, so we can learn a bit more about it.

Probably my second favorite scene of the episode (the first being the ending) put a lot more depth into the characters and get to know them better.

Clementine:. I ate a guy's leg once
Everyone stares
Clementine: I'm joking
Louis: But are you though?
Clementine: I watched a guy get his face bashed in with a crowbar there wasn't even any skin left.
Someone reacts
Clementine: he deserved it.
Clementine had some amazing answers.

No but we're going to have to really work to get into Chloe's pan...heart. get past her insecurities about her missing girlfriend. That sort of thing.
Hehe, I didn't even think about that similarity yet. (I should look at avatars more often)
Okay, if next episode an art teacher shows up I'm returning the game.
Easily my favorite scene since episode 203. Best scene in the episode. Very happy that Javi and Mark were brought up.
Also it's funny that TFS had more references in one scene then ANF had in the whole game.

If Clem did eat roasted leg of Mark will she still say she was joking?

To be fair, that sounds like a lot of generalized shit.
Lol, when I was playing my first thought was "they've taken notes from before the storm"

I'm just happy she could ask Marlon about his fucked up mullet. That's all I needed
Yeah, most of the questions was just trivial shit.
Om, it was BBQ'd! Gosh!
