Did anyone forget that... (Final Season SPOILERS)

Everyone seems glad that AJ killed Marlon but did you forget that Abel's group might come over to school and ask for a kid in exchange for safety? AJ's decision was a dick move and you have no option to make Abel's group leave them alone without a fight.

  • That's why Marlon should've been at least determinant, anyway, they are screwed now, so.... I guess they should run.

  • Yeah they are screwed

  • Now i get it what it means
    "Protecting it means sacrifice"

  • Marlon deserved to be taken away just like the way he did to Tenn's sisters.

  • I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want Marlon. A group of raiders show up and they only take the two young girls. They aren't taking them to do chores, if you get my meaning... They wouldn't want any boys.

  • Give me a video where someone says Abel's group are only after little girls and not boys.

  • I'm basing this off real life. When groups of sex slaves are found and freed, there's nary a dick to be found among them. Plus, Marlon wasn't exactly a little kid. If anyone was interested in him they'd have a much harder time overpowering and forcing themselves on him than they would a younger, smaller kid.

  • Do they? They just seemed stunned silent to me.
But yeah, that occurred to me a little after the credits rolled.

  • Two pretty young white girls got taken by a bunch of adult raiders.

I don't think it takes much to put together the connotation, unfortunately.

  • The Raiders might think that this group is a helpless defenseless group of kids. They might have an army but we have a Clementine.

Also these kids know Guerilla warfare with the giant stone rocks and swinging logs. It's going to be Vietnam when they step on our turf.

  • We know that they might have the returning character though so he/she will get shocked that they took clem's people

  • They're black...they are Tenn's sisters

Didn't he draw himself as "white" too? I just assumed he didn't colour in any faces

Edit: nvm you didn't mean the drawing. I forgot about the memory book. Still don't get what their race has to do with it. Black girls get abused too.

  • AJ is like a 6 years old survivalist. He eliminated the threat, just the way Clementine taught him. Right?

In my playthru I picked Never hesitate. And after Marlon got pew pewed he said "What? I didnt hesitate!"

  • ...I'm trying to figure out if I should bother even brushing this.

Oh god, imagine that log trap being used against a living person. Now that would be a colorful death scene.

They're ignoring that Tenn's sisters were older than him when they were taken. They don't care about age or gender, they just want what they were promised in the deal. Simple as that.

  • They didn't take Marlon or Brody
Those two are a bit husky. Good for labor not good for sex.
So they took the pretty ones instead of the strong ones.

And little is sixteen to a forty year old raider

  • In all actuality, we know nothing might return. No way Lilly would be a part of a group that condones kidnapping children for whatever nefarious reason that these raiders have came up with.

Just ignore them, they're the trolls of Telltale. There's also a herd of trolls that enjoy saying Clem is white, too and that Carver is really AJ's father. It's no guess as to the underlying reason why they troll race. For the most part the mods on here overlook it, which is kind of interesting since they also allow the trolls to continue on around here.

I'm assuming you haven't encountered many interracial children in your lifetime?

They're hair was kind of red in the photo album. I have light skin interracial people on my mother's side of the family with that same kind of hair color & they appear like this:

Which is most likely how Tenn's sisters looked as well. Clementine is also interracial and even they have trouble making her character model look like she is mixed. I never would assume she was if we didn't know who her parents were.

  • I remember a big reason why I stopped viewing these forums a couple years ago were for the subtle bigotry in comments I was seeing. Thanks for the heads-up. I just thought specifying their race was a bit...concerning when it has no relevance to being abused.

  • AJ gets his violent side from his mom obviously

  • Jesus, what's with this spamming? I don't like it.

  • I think that must be it. If AJ really was Carver's son, he should look a lot different. Mixed babies don't look like that

  • Mixed babies can look in any range between their mother and father. But I don't think Carver is the father either.

Being a mixed dude, I can say that 80% of the time, mixed babies look more like Clementine (who is herself mixed) rather than AJ, but still, there's some odd cases where they resemble more one parent over the other of course.

  • 20% is a big number still. But I agree they would of made AJ more "racially ambiguous" if they wanted to imply Carver was his son.
