Theory: Someting about **** eyes
Abel, the guy that attack Clem and AJ at the station has heterochromia and is made pretty obvious, what I have noticed on my second playthrought is that the male of the walker couple in the station has the same eye colours as him, so they were probably releated, that means that maybe Clementine was indeed stealing from him, also the female walker has one eye missing so we can’t tell if she has heterochromia too, or maybe in this new group of bandits the females get their eye ripped off? Maybe im gasping at straws here, but I just wanted to share my piece. And also im in love with Violet.

Yeah, when someone pointed that out, it got earlier gears turning properly.
We'll find out next episode, I'm sure.
You know, it'd be interesting if that has to do as to the alleged disappearance/death of their child. Abel's group may or may not have been the one to make the deal with Marlon, but if they did, then I suspect that the child being gone/dead may relate to them. Although I wouldn't really get how the eye color thing is relevant in that case.
Holy shit, that, I didn't consider.
Haha, I've one upped the legendary DabigRG in speculation for once!
I mean seriously though, we'd didn't really see any graves nearby, did we? Frankly when I first played, I was expecting a zombie baby to crawl out of that thing, but it didn't.
Hm.
Eye color thing could be siblings, but would siblings actually do that?
Whoa that didn’t cross my mind, we might be onto something here. But still, who takes children in a zombie apocalipse? Guess we’ll find out in two months
To hell with Abel, I prefer Cain/Kane

Coincidentally, they both have heterochromia, could there be any kind of connection here?
...
Fair point. How messed up for that to have been a first action scene for AJ.
Kill each other or have babies?
Cause considering Abel's accent...
Interesting theory @MrGraffio
The row of 3 duffel bags weren't present when we first visited the Train station. There was one of them on the bed prior to the car crash & there's oddly another one that can be seen but not interacted with at the Fishing Cabin.
Since Abel sabotaged their traps and purposely left a cigarette behind to make his presence known, he certainly isn't a stranger to their territory. Perhaps he uses the fishing shack, too? A bed was in there much like the train station. Yeah I know V+M may have used it at one time, too, but we're talking now when they make a habit to get back to that school by sundown on some curfew shit.
Who else would feel comfortable sleeping there & have the same type of duffel bag around? Abel the gap toothed squatter, that's who.
What I don't get is how we even knew his name was Abel. He never said it (for me at least)
You can ask him when he shows up, by picking “Who are you?” as a dialogue option.
Oh, maybe its just that, a little easter egg. Cain and Abel. Neat.
Yeah I can defenetly see Violet and Minerva using the cabin for “private” time, but since Minerva disappeared, it was probably left unused thus making it free to use for Abel. Yeah the bags thing was kinda strange, maybe Marlon had a deal with these people, thats why he didnt want to leave the safe zone.
Will post one of my theories lol. Pretty sure it`s not true, but that is why they are "theories", right?
Another theory I thought about is a bit far-fetched, so no reason to take it too seriously. This is all a big coincidence. The walker at the train station has different colored eyes. Maybe, before he died, he was the creep that Brody thinks of when Clementine mentions Abel. Maybe he was a part of the bigger group (explains the amount of supplies the train station has) of "raiders" and maybe the reason the man wanted to take two kids was that he and the woman (another walker at the train station) lost their own kid (empty crib at the train station). Now that both Brody and Marlon, the only people from the group who saw these raiders in person are dead, when Abel comes at the gates the conflict between his group and the kids will inevitably arise (either because Clementine tried to kill him, or because kids will believe that he and his group are the raiders). While in reality, the bad guys are already long gone/dead.
I dont know why I came up with that theory, its just that the way Abel was acting at the train station if you let him just take the food. He is not at all hostile, he just takes the food and leaves. He also leaves most of the food to the kids (two bags versus just one that he takes).
Oh okay. Telltale must've slipped up because it said [Attack Abel] when he never said his name in my play through
Yeah, I mean Abel dosen’t seem bad, hes being cautios, and lower his gun and only raise it when he AJ point his gun at him, and he just leave without harming anyone. One thing that I didn’t try is to kill the walkers couple and to see if he comments on that, so maybe we can solve another mystery.
If they're going to give all the bad guys biblical names I hope Lilly doesn't return as Lilith.
Not a nice woman from what I hear.
He does not comment on that. He also does not kill them himself if you left them be.
Interesting fact, while there are multiple causes of Heterochromia, including accidents, the most common cause of genetic Heterochromia is a lack of genetic diversity. In other words, inbreeding. Maybe Abel and train station walker dude were related, their parents cousins or siblings or something. It seems too big a coincidence for there to be two people with heterochromia in the same place and them be unrelated in a world where nearly everyone is dead.
I dont really think they are related. Doesnt make a lot of sense on why he would leave after, as well as not seem to give a shit if his parents are dead, or were killed by Clem. Stuff like that.
I never thought they were his parents. He's much too old to have a literal baby sibling (remember there was a crib in the back room with the mattress. I was thinking if they were related they'd be siblings.
But I actually had another thought while playing through again just a bit ago to get all the collectibles. What if Abel doesn't have heterochromia at all? What if one of his eyes is glass or otherwise artificial? The woman walker is missing an eye. What if she had a glass eye, Abel stumbled across the place some time previously, saw she had a glass eye (since a glass eye wouldn't cloud over like normal eyes it'd be obvious it was artificial), and took it for himself? Pop it out, clean it real good, and good to go.
Thats a more interesting theory but I still doubt he had any connection with the train station.
It just doesnt make much sense if he already was there, for him to show up, take some of the food, and leave.
Oh I agree, there's definitely logical flaws in the idea, but then again, it's TellTale. They're known for logical flaws (like no one else hearing Marlon and Brody yelling or Marlon and Brody not hearing Clem smashing the lock to the basement to name a couple).
The biggest issue with it is why he'd take the eye and not bother going in the back room. He doesn't seem like the nicest guy, certainly not nice enough to honor their request to be left alone when there could be food locked away in the back.
OMG! That's why at the end of the episode there was a storm! It could means that it was a foreshadow for Lily to return as Lilith! (For those who don't know Lilith is associed with storms and the end of the world, if I remeber correctly)
According to the wiki she's a demon who steals babies, among other things.
So now we know what happened to Tenn's sisters.
Another thing that I have noticed is that in this episode there is a lot of emphasis on eyes, to list a couple:
Spoilers below:
When Brody gets flashlighted the first thing she say is "I can't see" and then when Clem remember her of the travel discussion she will remark what she wish to see (for example "The sky")
Clem literally burns and smashes Brody eyes out and the camera focus on her face
Just to list a couple.
THAT CANNOT BE A COINCIDENCE.
Damn, nice catch. I wasn't even paying attention. That sure does explain why the raiders were being dicks over that food, and also why it was rigged with a grenade. Didn't seem like old folks on the rocking chair would just rig their stuff up with explosives. Abel probably knew the house well (parents house or something) and the cult uses it to store their goods. If that's the case, he let Clem take a good portion of their food. I wonder why.
I doubt Clementine was the only person to hear that. I mean, by the time she gets out of the basement, pretty much everyone was in the courtyard. Clementine was probably just the first person to wake up/check it out.
As for not hearing Clementine bust the lock, that one is fair. Maybe they thought it was thunder or something?
Also I just remembere Violet talking about eating horse eyeballs too
