  • I don't speak french sorry.

  • Yee!

  • I dunno why but I hated watching new frontier lets play (maybe just straight up hated new frontier) but Im enjoyng watching them again for the new season

  • Pewds just doesn't really feel TWD anymore in my eyes. Can't really watch anything he plays anymore in all honesty. The spark is just gone for me personally.

  • Jesus fuck he looked so bored at times I just had to skip some parts. Too difficult to watch honestly.

  • I dont watch him much but he certainly looks bored at times, clearly not into this kinda game anymore

  • Did someone say woo?

  • Yeah, being honest he just looks uninterested
I think he feels like he HAS to finish the series, but he doesn't really care about it anymore
I'm glad he's playing it, but still a pretty uninteresting let's play.

  • I hate this loser, but if he rakes in the views and gives the game more publicity whaaaatev.

  • I made this thread before I even started watching because I was so excited, but now after I did watch it, I have to agree with you: He kind of seems uninterested, and can't wait for an opportunity to complain about unimportant details such as: "Why is this guy cooking without ingredients around? You don't even use crowbar properly etc" which in themselves are completely irrelevant when it comes to shaping ones experience of the episode anyway. Just compare him when he played s1 and s2, you could tell he was emotionally connected, payed attention without checking chat all the time and petting his dog, and in general he was more interested. Oh well, I hope he'll eventually get more serious about it.

  • Exactly. It was a terrible playthrough, but it'll draw attention to the Game and that's what matters

  • I skimmed through his Detroit playthrough and he was kinda the same with that, even though he really enjoyed it
I think he's just kinda over video games in general, which is why he's moved away from it and why he decided to not post God of War or finish Life is Strange or play really any other big game release this year

  • Less action and more dialogue in a 2 hour episode in a video game will do that I’m afraid... I wonder why that was? ? (I’m looking at you, telltale forums) personally I liked the dialogue, but this is a video game after all, not a story book, we’re gonna need a lot more action in the next few episodes.

  • That's what Telltale is tho bruh ? if anything, S1 had LESS action than this episode did

Pewdiepie just isn't a very entertaining guy on his own. I've been watching him on and off since he started his channel. It's mostly his editors that are keeping his channel going, along with the series he does. His livestream's are some of dullest stuff I've ever sat through.

  • Yeah, but just because a gaming company makes their games in a certain way doesn’t mean it should stay like that. Like a new frontier had a huge boost in action, but people didn’t like that because there wasn’t room for development, resulting in this. I still love season 4 though, aside from the ending of the episode, don’t get me wrong.

And about season 1... it did kinda bore me at times when there was the generic conversation, but when something emotional happens, such as Lee’s death and kenny’s “sacrifice” or a whitty line or even a moment to kick back with the group, such as sharing the drink with Kenny, playing cards with Louis, Violet and Marlon, or discussing how you are going to save David with the group (in the version where Gabe doesn’t mess things up) then it all makes up for the lack of action. At least for me. Which is probably why season 1 is my favourite season, it was sad, yet light hearted, dark, yet humorous, and it had the odd murder scene here and there too.

    I know the feeling.

EDIT: Oh shit, this guy's still making videos?

Eh, I'd say that's kind of a good, honestly.

  • TT forums can't be the only place RPG fans hang out at lol. Some dude said he never bothered to finish his God of War play through? If GoW had too much boring dialogue, it may be time to find a new hobby lol
