The other achievement is just "platonic" so I guess that means some kind of romance is going to happen in episode 2. Kinda worried about that, wasnt really a fan of doing a whole Clem shipping thing, plus its in episode 2 so it'll feel pretty off.

Yes, which is why Im pointing that out. There will probably some kind of option to go for the romance and another not to, based on whichever you unlock the corresponding achievement.
Okay, I guess I was just wondering what you're worried about then. Is it the shipping threads on the forum? Cause those would happen even if there was no romance in the game.

As in overall plot it will feel weird that they are already going into romance in episode 2. Seems too early. We just met them, and now I guess we becoming couples.

Perhaps, I'll see how Telltale handles it. But that's only a potential problem if you choose to go for the romance, which you don't have to. So, I still don't see the problem.

Im not going to judge it until I see it play out. Just knowing how Telltale usually handles romance is what kinda has me worried, seeing how the whole "its not an issue you dont have to romance" isnt really true either. The only Telltale game that didnt still force the romance down even if you said no was Batman S2, with the main reason being because the romance option had very little screen time.

But you've already mentioned there is an achievement called platonic, so it seems that Telltale already has given it a bit more thought than usual.
I think the worst thing that can happen is that we miss out on a few scenes if we choose to opt out of a romance, but that's pretty understandable.

Well thats why Im waiting. Only problem is even though theres an achievement for it, it probably wont stop Telltale. I will give them the benefit of the doubt though considering it does seem like this time they decided to have the whole game planned out and are very closely following it instead of just doing it as they go. So hopefully this will be the first Telltale game where saying no to the romance actually is saying no to the romance due to them actually planning ahead (hopefully.)

You can avoid the romance, or you can go with one of the two. But heres the thing: You can get BOTH achievement "platonic" and "teenage romance" clearly implying that you are going to friendzone the one(which you otherwise could have been in relationship with) and enter(or not enter at all) a relationship with the other.
If it happens in episode 2, unless they do a timeskip simillar to to Starved for Help (around two months), I believe it's pretty soon to get in a relationship with either Violet or Louis.
But think on this pal....Ep1 is really good...not perfect but it is a nice return to form....it does give me hope for our pals Bigby and Snow....so chin up Poogs....at least the Telltale of today is willing to learn and take our feedback to heart...and that in of itself is reason to hope.
If achievements aren't fake (which I won't check for myself as to not spoiler myself accidentally) then at least people might not ranting about "Oh no, Telltale don't force romance onto us! We don't want it at all". Now at least maybe they'll be quite because they will have option to reject it, which by the way even without those achieves, I suspected might be a thing.
On the other hand, I agree with people saying it might a bits too soon unless they do a timeskip. If not, I'd think that it makes more sense as an arc for episode 3. In any case I'm obliged to wait for episode 2 before I make my final judgement.
That's not necessarily true anymore. In previous games where you would unlock all the achievements in one go, sure. But that's not the case anymore. They could keep the platonic achievement locked until you turn down both potential romances.

Is that title Turkish or German? I mean the achievement name? Like I am guessing Turkish, right? I am sorry if I am wrong and it is German i have been way from German language lately but still books of learning more German language.
I don't trust images in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying those ARE fake. I'm only saying that these days screenshot can be easily photoshoped so I'm simply looking at this with a grain of salt, if you know what I mean.

This is for Episode 2 correct?

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m wondering if there is going to a time-skip or something during the episode?
Platonic means that you're just friends, so wouldn't that mean you can avoid the romance?

At least it seems to be optional.
Why do you hate romance?
As in overall plot it will feel weird that they are already going into romance in episode 2. Seems too early. We just met them, and now I guess we becoming couples.
Well there is 4 episodes in this final season. Maybe a time skip will happen? I mean I am for it after all. Besides it is a option now.
Perhaps, I'll see how Telltale handles it. But that's only a potential problem if you choose to go for the romance, which you don't have to. So, I still don't see the problem.
How old are you? Do you remember being a teenager? Teenage hormones are insane lol.

Hehe, lets just hope they don't discover one of the teacher's secret stashes of booze. Cause everybody will end up pregnant by the end of the episode.

We're still not sure where Rosie's puppies came from. * Everyone looks at Willy*
Tfw u return to Richmond with Violet in your arms and Gabe is still alive. Not today, famalam.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THAT'S JUST FUCKING GRIM, I'M SORRY BUT I'M OUT
Poogers you are always worried...

you dont need romance to make a good story/game. i dont like it as it looks out of place
so happy its optional, the shipping just feels off to me, i love louis and violet but entering a realationship just feels off

Smh ANF was all about boners and periods and
Teenage Romance
I don't want to go through that again. It's especially alarming since this is a Season about
Teenagers

I don't know about telltale handling multiple determinant romances and keeping them consistent.
Hence the final season
I'm still not sure telltale will be able to carry it for 3 episodes before dropping the ball with it.
Have a little faith
Optimistic, but realistic.
How achievements can be fake? Wut?

Now I'm imagining fake a achievements
"Smelling flowers"
"rugburn"
"Home run"
Well, what's wrong with a little bit of skepticism?
Moderate Sex Impact according to Australia's rating board. We're well and truly fucked this season now - both figuratively and literally.
