Well the whole Arvo thing... really it just turns out he had good instincts. I mean my Clem got elbowed trying to help him out, didn't steal from him and the little ba$tard still shot Clem... So I don't feel bad for that kid. I probably should, I guess? But I don't. And Carver nearly made Kenny go brain dead... I think anyone would be consumed at that point. The walker thing? I don't remember.
But I agree with you Kenny was going insane.
Beating Carver’s face in long after he was dead, beating a walker long after it was dead, Beating up Arvo at extremely unnecessary moments, arguing with almost everyone in the group
Oh and you have evidence of this do you? It doesn’t fucking matter because what was written was written like it or not. I expect this typical response from a Kenny hater anyway, heard it all before

Well i approve of his character and don’t hold grudges for what he says or does in the past like some haters do who seem to hold those grudges even worse than Kenny himself! Honestly no offence but i look at these haters and think jeez get over it! He’s not the easiest person to like i know but the reason i respect the character is because he is always honest about everything he says or does, even if it’s the wrong thing sometimes. We all see the world differently
Except that Kenny sacrificing himself was written exactly how the character has always been! Like it or not that’s a fact. He put Ben out of his misery or put his life on the line to save Christa. He begged Wellington to take in the kids instead of him which in itself is a sacrifice. He was written how he was always written.
Even Jane’s death was accurate. The reason your pissed i imagine is because you are a Jane fan and didn’t like how they killed her off.
Well I didn’t either because of how lazy all the first flashbacks were anyway. But to blame the writer for being a Kenny fan is ridiculous, i kinda hope you’re joking
Kenny nobly sacrifices his life for Clementine and AJ. You gotta go on without me.
Jane hangs herself womp womp.
Or Clementine loses a finger.
It's friggin obvious.
Kenny died as a Jesus and ascended to valhalla on unicorn farts
Jane was a survivor who could have killed the fetus without killing herself easily. Hell just by being stressed about it could have caused a miscarriage. But then she's like nope gotta suicide it was absolutely pointless and out of character.

Kenny had lost his mind, its why he was okay with it when Clem shot him. He was even proud of her that she stopped him from doing a bad thing. That being said, I don't blame him for going crazy. Imagine losing your wife and child then getting your face smashed in to the point of losing an eye and losing another loved one.
AJ and Clem (depending on her reactions) were the only things keeping Kenny intact. When he thought he'd lost AJ he snapped, good reason or no. It took that scenario and Jane's death for him to realize he'd gone off the deep end and, if he's given another chance, he shapes up.
I don't know why people think Jane's end of season 3 was out of character. I wasn't surprised by it. It made sense to me and definitely like something she would do. Not to mention women can be unpredictable in their pregnancy, their hormones can affect their mood, even as soon as the first trimester. Imagine suffering through depression in the apocalypse with two kids and then finding out your pregnant? It wasn't like with Christa who'd had her husband to help her out, Jane was alone. I'm not saying what she did was right but I'm just saying its not unrealistic or that surprising.
Being happy in a flashback doesn't retroactively fix his trauma over Sarita's death, anger issues, confrontational nature, deteriorating mental state, and myriad other problems that plagued him at the time. These characters flaws coupled with his protectiveness of Clem/AJ are what made the final showdown with Jane happen.
It was never solely her fault or her actions that led to that moment. The man was a ticking time-bomb and I guess it was Jane's harebrained scheme that caused him to explode. But I don't believe for a second that this wouldn't have happened under different circumstances.
I find it a bit disrespectful how people tend to liken Kenny's behavior to that of a rabid dog that needed to be put down, but... I thought it was unfortunately accurate.
Season 3/ANF debunks what you said to be fair. I disagree. He was living a perfectly happy life with Clem and AJ through those flashbacks we… more saw. Why? Because Kenny wasn’t around people like Jane who had sociopathic tendencies to fuck with someone’s emotions to make them angry. Another example, Arvo and his group tried to kill him and everyone else including the baby he was trying to protect, that was a large part of why Kenny treated Arvo the way he did.
So no i don’t think something else would have set him off unless someone was a threat to him or his family (Clem/AJ)
Well, he tried to kill Jane and I can't forgive that.
And yet you think it’s ok what she did in order to get him into that angry state? Faking a baby’s death to prove a point? Plus she tried to kill him too, people forget that. And before you say it, it wasn’t self defence. Why? Because Kenny was backing off at one point during the fight and she willingly charged towards him with the knife when she could have stopped what was happening. She even threatened to take him down if you chose a certain dialogue choice so that right there was intent to kill.
It's a good thing I shot his ass down like the old dog he was. He needed to be put out of his misery once and for all.
And saying that makes you no better than him really does it? Ah whatever, my Clem went with Kenny to Wellington and he’s out there somewhere surviving and happy knowing he succeeded in his number 1 mission, just how it should be in my opinion

He wasn't fit to look after Clem and AJ. Hell, old dog couldn't even protect his own damn son and he was supposed to look after those 2 kids????? Now Jane, there's the woman you want babysitting your kids. Her motherly instincts would've kicked in soon enough had it not been for her crippling depression.
And yet you think it’s ok what she did in order to get him into that angry state?
Uhhhhhh.....yeah? If there's a crazy man who is as much of a threat to my life as he is to a walker's, I'm gonna do whatever tf I can to prove he shouldn't be with us.
Kenny was backing off at one point during the fight and she willingly charged towards him with the knife when she could have stopped what was happening.
She lowers her knife and what does he do? He bursts into a sprint headed right for her like a damn animal.

These characters flaws coupled with his protectiveness of Clem/AJ are what made the final showdown with Jane happen.
I never said it fixed them but to me it was a step in the right direction, he was at peace and happy again from what we were given in those flashbacks so thats what we have to go by. I would imagine by being round people he loved and trusted, the rage that happened with Jane wouldn’t happen with them. He only ever got angry and shouted at Clem in the past when he was angry, he would never intentionally hurt them.
It was never solely her fault or her actions that led to that moment. The man was a ticking time-bomb and I guess it was Jane's harebrained scheme that caused him to explode.
Well it was solely her fault. There was nothing stopping her leaving at any time if she didn’t want to be round him. She can’t force Clem to go with her, in fact she didn’t even ask her what she wanted to do! She didn’t have to do what she did just because she didn’t like how Kenny was or what he was doing. What right did she have to cripple a man’s emotions, pushing him over the edge? What right did she have putting a baby’s life in danger to make that point? None whatsoever.
I find it a bit disrespectful how people tend to liken Kenny's behavior to that of a rabid dog that needed to be put down, but... I thought it was unfortunately accurate.
Thank you for saying that, i’m glad you’re at least fair on this topic. Believe it or not I don’t mind people who don’t like Kenny who make reasonable points as to why but yeah those who wish death on him in gruesome ways or constantly say vile things about him showing how much they hate him, it bothers me.
It makes me worry about the type of sensitive people they are in real life viewing actual people and not fictional characters

Watch the scene again kid. I am talking about later on. After Jane slashes him with the knife, they go outside and he backs off. She was NOT innocent! You think hiding a baby in a freezing cold car is innocent?? Leaving it alone where walkers could easily get inside and kill him, where it could freeze or starve to death if he hadn’t cried? Imagine he didn’t make a noise? Kenny and Clem would never ever have known he was alive, all because of her sick and twisted plan. Seriously who uses a helpless baby to bait an already unstable man?? Its sociopathic and you can’t have people that around you. Kenny wasn’t an angel but you know you can trust him, that he would do anything it took to make sure the kids were safe.

You could always trust Jane. Yeah she left AJ in a freezing car for some time, but look how he turned out! It's a shame he wasn't left in there any longer.

Oh boo hoo! So you are glad someone’s dead because he hurts your feelings and you’ve never got over it all this time? Jeez, i hope you aren’t like this towards people in real life
kenny was mad at everyone. look how he bullied arvo and always yelled at clem when she tries to help. i'm glad he's dead. i hated him ever since season 1.
I think it was general mistrust because, as he mentions at the beginning of episode 5, she was indirectly responsible for causing Arvo's gro… moreup to attack them... or at least that's how Kenny himself sees the situation. Then there's the fact that she decided to leave the group in a time when they arguably needed her, and acted a bit weird in episode 4 overall; constantly trying to go off on her own, being seemingly hesitant about Rebecca's baby, and so forth. Those all act as red flags to Kenny, so he starts getting more and more suspicious about Jane and her motives. Then as the episode goes on, he just keeps building her up in his head as an untrustworthy person; someone who may very well be a potential threat, even. And when he can't find AJ at the rest stop, he immediately draws the conclusion that, based on Jane's previous behavior, she most likely abandoned AJ on purpose, which causes him to finally snap and attempt to kill her.

Jane was an idiot. If I ignore her noncanon because it was written by a Kenny fanboy ANF fate she still fucked up a lot. She expressed genuinely valid points in terrible ways. She didn't actually care about "The Group" She wanted Clementine. ( You can say sexually , as a sister, or she just needed a friend I don't care) that was it. She'd have pushed the entire gang into a fire pit AJ included if it meant she could have Clem to herself. And that's kinda fucked up. But Kenny would push Clem into that same pit for AJ. If Clem had accidentally lost AJ Kenny would have snapped on her accident or not. Unlike with killing Jane he might feel bad about it later but that wouldn't make up for it.

I mean........it's not such a bad thing considering how he turned out.
Imagine he didn’t make a noise?
In my game I went with Jane, so they wouldn't have needed to hear him cry to find out he was still alive because she already knew he was.
Seriously who uses a helpless baby to bait an already unstable man??
drastic times call for drastic measures buddy boy-o.
Its sociopathic and you can’t have people that around you.
And having a psychopath around you is any better?
Kenny wasn’t an angel but you know you can trust him
No you couldn't. If you disagreed with him he'd come after you next. He only began to hate and disrespect jane once she disagreed with him.
but she was NOT innocent at all
She most definitely was. She never hurt or argue with anyone except for the man who was on her the whole time
he would do anything it took to make sure the kids were safe.

There really is no defending Jane. We can agree Kenny went overboard but it wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t done what she did. I could never forgive nor trust someone who uses a baby as bait to emotionally drive a man to those lengths. Fuck Jane!
Jane tactfully used AJ as a second wake-up call after Carver so that Clementine was able to finally realise how much of a reckless man Kenny… more became. All of the other characters noticed this if you recall resulting in Mike, Bonnie and Arvo's departure. The last string of hope for Kenny to feel emotionally attached to was with AJ and Clementine, so that is why Jane purposefully staged the incident. In the story generator, you will hear Clementine say that it was the ''last straw'' for Kenny because if you excuse the pun, there was 'no going back'. I know that some individuals believe that Jane was wrong and manipulative, but Kenny was a difficult character who always judged other characters' flaws and never reflected on his own issues. Jane taught Clementine how to survive as a 'big sister' without being brutal like Kenny and that is why I chose to forgave her at the end of Season Two.

I liked Jane for the same reasons I like Violet scared if caring after being hurt. Actually Needs someone but is messed up.
But I can't really defend what she did. Luckily now we have Violet.
Kenny and Jane had no problem with each other until the second half of Season 2 Episode 5. That is what frustrated me about the end of Season 2, as I felt it should have been Luke vs. Kenny. Maybe Jane could have been the alone option.
How else would she have proven her point? Once again: she deliberately used AJ as ‘bait’ because she knew the bond Kenny had with him. I also found her voice soothing similarly to Violet’s.

Errr maybe not do it in the first place?? No one was stopping her leaving! She couldnt force Clem to go with her! She didn’t even ask her what she wanted!

I trusted her so I forgave her. I looked at your biography and clearly you are a Kenny-fanatic, but you should allow other individuals to voice an opinion. I saw the remarks you sent to @Dex-Starr. Was that necessary?

In my game I went with Jane, so they wouldn't have needed to hear him cry to find out he was still alive because she already knew he was.
drastic times call for drastic measures buddy boy-o.
And having a psychopath around you is any better?
No you couldn't. If you disagreed with him he'd come after you next. He only began to hate and disrespect jane once she disagreed with him.
She most definitely was. She never hurt or argue with anyone except for the man who was on her the whole time
Like Duck?
If it wasn't for Jane, NO ONE would've escaped the heard at Howe's. She's the reason they got to live past that moment.
There really is no defending Jane. We can agree Kenny went overboard but it wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t done what she did. I could never forgive nor trust someone who uses a baby as bait to emotionally drive a man to those lengths. Fuck Jane!
I liked Jane for the same reasons I like Violet scared if caring after being hurt. Actually Needs someone but is messed up.
But I can't really defend what she did. Luckily now we have Violet.
Well i hope Violet isn’t another Jane
Kenny and Jane had no problem with each other until the second half of Season 2 Episode 5. That is what frustrated me about the end of Season 2, as I felt it should have been Luke vs. Kenny. Maybe Jane could have been the alone option.
@Blind Sniper This thread went off the rails.
Great. Just great. Look what you went and did @dan290786 Now this thread's get closed.
How else would she have proven her point? Once again: she deliberately used AJ as ‘bait’ because she knew the bond Kenny had with him. I also found her voice soothing similarly to Violet’s.
In real life Clem was best off Alone
Errr maybe not do it in the first place?? No one was stopping her leaving! She couldnt force Clem to go with her! She didn’t even ask her what she wanted!
I trusted her so I forgave her. I looked at your biography and clearly you are a Kenny-fanatic, but you should allow other individuals to voice an opinion. I saw the remarks you sent to @Dex-Starr. Was that necessary?
Exactly! He said terrible things to me.....all because I don't see things his way Why would someone do that?
