I trusted her so I forgave her. I looked at your biography and clearly you are a Kenny-fanatic, but you should allow other individuals to voice an opinion. I saw the remarks you sent to @Dex-Starr. Was that necessary?

I guess because some of us get very invested in games or tv as well as real life. He was being sarcastic in his comments so its easy to see why it bothered me

The name of the dissscusion is why Kenny was mad with Jane I will try to answer that question and not why Kenny was better than Jane or Jane was better to Kenny, Kenny was broken he lost his entire family in one day his wife suicide just imagine how hard it has to be than the person who you love kill herself leaving you alone and then his son the he was beaten up losing his eye and his new girlfriend the only thing thaht he has was aj and Clem and he only wants to protect them obviously he loses his mind when Jane hid AJ but I think ist normal it was one of the two thing he only have and In the end he even wants to leave Clem and aj In Wellington even If he have to go just for their safety, that's why for me Kenny was the most human character for all the things he gone through maybe we react the same way or worse...
Thank You I think this is a good disscusion but get over with #teamkenny vs #teamjane
The actual build up to Kenny vs Jane wasn't executed all that well, in fairness, but it seemed to revolve around Clementine and the role each character wanted to play in her life. Both wanted to guide her and teach her their own mindsets, and saw the other as a threat to what they thought was best for Clementine. Kenny saw Jane's lone survivalist approach to the apocalypse a risk to the values he wanted to instil in Clementine. That's why he didn't trust her. He perceived her to be dangerous. It's vice versa for Jane, as she viewed Kenny as reckless and mentally unbalanced.
I've seen it said a few times here that it was initially meant to be Luke Kenny fought in the last episode, but that for whatever reason, the writers killed Luke early and replaced him with Jane. Whether that's true, I got no clue, but it might just explain why Kenny and Jane's rivalry seems a little rushed.
Fellas, fellas, fellas (...or... ladies?), let's all take a chill pill and tone it down a notch with the personal attacks.
When arguing your point on the forums, criticizing one's argument is okay but try to keep it focused on that instead of personally attacking other people. It's okay if you agree to disagree. I'm leaving a public warning for now, but I may need to lock the thread if the arguments don't stop becoming personal.
(...oh, and likewise try to avoid comments singling out writers instead of focusing on the writing itself. We had a few of those comments come up too...) Thanks!

Thanks for the ping, but in the future, flagging posts is likely to get a quicker response. (You can click "Flag" in the lower left corner of a post.)
Mentions can get lost if we happen to get lots of notifications during a busy point of time, whereas flagged post reports show up in a separate designated area for all mods to see. Plus, flagging a specific post gives mods a better idea of what point in the discussion we need to look at, just in case we walk in on a longer thread or extra-tangled up argument.
kenny had a consistent problem with losing his temper and being hella violent in every season. every scene he starts yelling you think he's gonna hit someone (and he does sometimes). that's what jane was trying to prove to clem, that he can't control himself and would become dangerous.
and no, i don't hope mean people die irl, but i wouldn't want them in my life. and if it's the zombie apocalypse, then yah, they better avoid me. dogs too. i hate that dog so much.
Oh boo hoo! So you are glad someone’s dead because he hurts your feelings and you’ve never got over it all this time? Jeez, i hope you aren’t like this towards people in real life
Easy. Bad writing. It seems they were so focused on ending season 2 with a fight against two people that they forgot about having a legitimate reason that fits both their characters. There are so many flaws in their last minute rivalry but it was effective enough to still spark controversy today.
Except that Kenny didn't really have a plan and Clementine did most of the work whilst Bonnie is the only reason they got to escape. Kenny and Luke thought of escaping but their plans failed and the escape would have failed without Bonnie's aid. As for the Walker trick, considering Clem hadn't used it in the first couple episode or brought it up, I think we can gather that she forgot about it until Jane reminded her.
She wanted to kill Troy but her manipulation prevented him from hurting anyone.
Jane is also the reason Rebecca, Clementine and in turn AJ survived the herd, everyone left the little girl and pregnant lady behind but the evil heartless Jane saved them.
When it came to sexy time, Luke is just as much to blame, he knew his job and chose not to do it.
Robbing Arvo isn't just Jane's fault, especially if Clem chose to steal the medicine. Plus there's no indication that they ambushed the group just because of stolen medicine, considering they're waiting in the exact same place regardless of when the group leaves.
Also let's not forgot that Jane saves Luke, Clem and determinantly Sarah at the trailer park, nearly risking her life. Can try to save Sarah again at the observation deck. Saves Kenny and the rest of the group from Vitali and determinantly saves Clem from drowning.
Most of the escaping was planned and carried out by Kenny and Clementine, Jane merely jumped on a free ride, she killed Troy because she wan… moreted to kill him, didn't give a shit about the group escaping ("..or you can die here, doesn't matter to me." - Jane), "taught" Clem a trick she already knew and then basically left or tried to leave everyone to die. Oh yeah also distracted Luke which put everyone's life in danger, robbed a stranger which nearly caused everyone to die and then bailed. Sure she came back to save the day, however the day wouldn't need to be saved had she not done what she did. I'd say Kenny had plenty reason to distrust her.
There were so many better ways for her to die in order to leave Clementine alone. They didn't even have to be noble like Kenny whoever made that decision is a Kenny ass kissing coprophage.
because the writers probably thought Luke vs Kenny would have been too obvious so they shoehorned Kenny vs Jane into episode 5 ((if i remember right at the start of the episode she even goes on about how Kenny s in a dark place and Clem has to pull him back from it... which i think contradicts her whole carver was a good guy once speech later in the episode.))
Because TVTropes. And because the likely reason for Jane's inclusion from an executive/favored standpoint mirrors the reason he was created in the first place.
Yes. Jane was egging him on before the crash. She was getting under his skin intentionally in order to manipulate the situation in her favor. AJ was the straw that broke the camel's back.
-The RV he as driving got stolen by Lilly, when she suddenly drove off with it
-He want to get the hell out of Georgia but the boat that's in the garage was stolen
-At the dock, the only boat there, is not salvageable
-He missed his family and wishes he could go back in time just to see them once more, and change some of the thing he did.(I can't remember is that how it goes, it was when he was talking with Clem in the Ski lodge).
-He also lost Sarita, after she got bit by a Walker.
-Rebecca is pregnant with AJ and Kenny see this as a 2nd chance
-Kenny arguing with Jane and was angry due to she wanted to go back to the place they got out from, while his plan was to go to Wellington, a place that was also mentioned at the beginning of Season 2, when Clem was taking with Christa.
-Jane hides AJ for no reason then to prove her point, where Kenny thought she actually killed AJ, since her attitude and actions makes others think she only cares about herself.
-The fire
(Kenny) is already raging, and she's still spraying gasoline into it. No wonder she got killed that the end (determinant). She should have known when to stop arguing with an angry person.

The world works in mysterious ways. Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether some like it or not.
No offence, but why are you getting ‘riled’ up about something that is trivial? This is a game; not real life.
@Blind Sniper time to close another pointless argument thread

If we are talking about ‘Halestorm’, then yes, maybe. Just go with the flow. ?
???
Are we having another #teamkenny vs #teamjane disscusion?
Just team jane seeing as there aren’t any Kenny fans around these boards anymore, hardly any anyway
Hey I'm a fan of Kenny
Clementine could've easily done anything she did in that.
All Jane did was act "mysterious and hardcore."
Too bad he recently said fuck your current face.

No problem if he doesn't like Kenny I respected his opinion
For me, that's really all she ever needed to do.
And then Amid the Ruins happened...
Funny, but I'm uhhhh......Im not...I don't think I get the connection between that vid and this .

This thread:
Best video game announcement. Fuck Smash, fuck Red Dead 2, fuck Death Stranding etc. This is the most original game I've ever heard of.
think whatever you want. what she did IS exactly how she is, jeez what game did you play?its so obvious

Jane could've said " 'scuse me, I REALLY gotta go take a shit." to Clementine, and he'd be boiling over, ready to chop her head off
He was mad at Jane for the same reason Clem was mad at David. They both thought AJ was dead. They both called them "Baby Killers."
I know you're a master at baiting people but I'm not taking it thank you come again.
He was angry with her long before she pulled Houdini on him with AJ. Remember the car ride before the crash.

Huh.
Never thought about it like that.
I don't think she would've done that for no reason.
I know
I mean, Jane was somewhere from 20-24, still quite young.
