The timeskip between Season 3 and Season 4 would be interesting because if Javier agreed with Kate, wanting to make a family with her, she could possibly have a baby in Season 4
If it wasn't for the fact that this ended up being the Final Season and it's very unlikely New Richmond in general will be on screen for very long, I'd be really curious to see if my impression'd theory about that comes into play.

Chances are much better that it would be Christa than Lilly. For starters Christa would mean more to Clem than Lilly does and also bringing in Lilly would just confuse a lot of players making them think it is meant to be the comic character (as many people that play the game aren't familiar with all the ins and outs of the other areas of the universe).

I'd prefer a final season full of original and intriguing new characters, not two old characters whose arcs have already been fulfilled. I'm… more glad Emily said that following them on Twitter is for personal enjoyment and not indicative of future game content.

Lilly was originally supposed to be the comic Lilly, only Kirkman at the time wrote a backstory, Telltale Lilly even has a similar history, working at the Air force thing etc. Plus the original achievement was "Woodbury Bound" when she leaves and the Character Profile on the official website listed her as the Woodbury Lilly. But that was taken down and the achievement changed to "What Now?"
