AJ turning into Carver?
Both don't have any problem killing people and both have what it takes to survive. How Crazy would it be if AJ turns evil and you have to stop him. Stopping him would mean you'd have to kill him like Lizzie. Granted, depending on your parenting, AJ will stay good or turn evil. Thoughts on evil AJ?

Is he turning into a basic villain archetype?
No, decidedly not.
It’s very much possible.
to say he might “stay good” would imply he was already good to begin with, which most certainly isn’t the case.
I thought he already WAS carver
It's the final season all bets are off
Yes.
my thoughts are AJ was always evil, no normal kid acts like this, apocalypse or otherwise. its like he's missing a sense
What if AJ transforms into Carver?
he would end up same way as his Dad ;D
AJ was really creepy in the scene from EP2
He made me think of Full Disclosure.
There are genetics links to psychopathy, as some people are more likely born aggressive and less emphatic than the others due to their genes. Y'all know the movie: "We need to talk about Kevin"? Plus AJ only knows the environment full with murderers, thieves and 'strongest survive' rule, of course he's not acting normal.
Considering aj's upbringing, aj's age, the kind of person marlon was, the kind of person carver was and carver's actions I don't see aj turning into carver. Marlon's more comparable to carver than aj is imo.
Not really, imo. Carver was heartless and cold but Marlon was looking out for the school, trying to keep them safe. He wasn’t built to be a leader and that was shown at the end of Episode One. He panics whenever he’s cornered and doesn’t think straight. He regretted his actions and asked the others for his forgiveness. He even offered to leave the school and never returned.
...Yeah, kinda. I guess.
So they wanted Carver to be seen as a scared an unstable kid?
Now that you mentioned it, you're right.
Like Michael Jackson?
It's possible. Carver may be AJ's father, so he might've inherited his bad side.
Not a fan of that title. But I get what you're trying to say.
To answer, not really. He's his own person. Now, if Carver was present in s4 to parent him...
