What if they're a Cult not Raiders?

Ok my only reason for thinking this so far is I've been listening to JT music's Far Cry 5 Rap but here's some quick justification.

Abel is a biblical name.

Abel smokes Bible cigarettes so it's possible the word of the cult's leader is More important than the actual Bible.

Pretty sure not even the comics have had an actual cult yet.

Cult leaders often sexually abuse females and children hence taking the twins.

And that's all I got.

  • I always said that what TWD lacks, so far, is some kind of a cult group. Like maybe some people who believe that the walkers are punishment from god for their sins. I'm with you on that. I too can't remember any cult group in either comics, tv show or even video games so that would be interesting.

I guess we just have to wait and see.

  • Celia from Fear was kinda messed up, keeping walkers and feeding them because she thought they were still people.
Not the same as a cult but the closest I can think of

  • Yup, the closest thing we got to an actual cult is the whisperers and I don't see them as one seeing how their members were not really devout toward Alpha even though they were required to let go of their humanity in order to survive.

  • Hell yeah! To be honest it looks like a great idea for villians and thinking about it makes me excited me!

  • Yeah but I was talking more of a religious type of cult. Dead worshipers, human sacrifices, cult leader truly believing they are the gods chosen, that type of crazy cult.

  • What if Telltale actually makes an interesting group of antagonist instead of just the generic Walking Dead villains with a gimmick like every walking dead bad guy.
