If Clementine fought Max in a 1v1, no holds barred, she would get REKT.

But no, AJ wouldn't be able to shoot her in the head from behind. There's a HUGE difference between getting injected with something and getting shot, and that's sound. As soon as the gun fires, Max would hear it and stop time a fraction of a second, stopping the bullet in mid air??

Max's rewind is her ace in the hole. It hasn't failed her once. All she'd have to do is either freeze time or rewind it to the moment before she was in danger.
Besides, Max rewrote death on several occasions.
