theres a reason Minecraft got panned its bloody awful

  • They have to finish the game because of their contract.

  • Contractual obligations. Netflix gave them money to make Minecraft. No one (other than us fans) gave them money to make TFS so they don't have to finish it. Us fans don't count for the purposes of contractual obligations.

  • But it's The Walking Dead that made them who they are today. No one cares about their awful titles outside of TWDG

  • Netflix should cancel the contract, nobody wants a Minecraft show from a skeleton crew remnant of a dead company.

Better yet, Netflix should take up making Telltale style games and help finish TWD:TFS

  • Why would Netflix choose Minecraft over TWD: TFS? isnt TWD one of their most popular shows?

  • At this point I don't even care if Episodes 3 and 4 are worse than A New Frontier. I just want to see a real ending to Clem's story.

  • It's hilarious they're worried about keeping their end of the deal with Netflix and not their customer base. If you're bankrupt, go full bankrupt and end it.

  • Just shows where their loyalties lie, to shareholders, not customers. They'd rather keep as much money in the pockets of their shareholders as possible than deliver a satisfying conclusion to the series that put them on the map for the fans that have been with them for nearly a decade.

  • They are legally bound to their contract with Netflix. Netflix could take legal action if Telltale breaks their contract.

  • And us fans can sue them for stealing money from us.

  • Capitalism is so tricky sometimes. Bound to Netflix by a contract but not bound by the money of their fanbase that expected a finished product and were clearly misled.
