You know, I'd kinda like it if they don't just make him a huge jerkass during the interrogation. I mean, we basically always see this, don't we? Capture an asshole, try to interrogate said asshole, continues to be an asshole anyways despite having no real leverage. It'd be neat if they flipped that for a change and actually made him willing to cooperate, but the player was still given the option to torture him regardless.

Yeah, I kinda had a similar thought.
Use this as an opportunity to give a bit of whyfor to our previously simplistic secondary/tertiary villain. Uncover a bit of who he is outside of the war effort(if he even remembers), what his connection to Lilly is, and how much he actually prioritizes the Deltas as a group compared to himself, including where the falters may be.
Not that grilling a smartass can't be entertaining in it's own right, but it'd help to have some idea of what is driving the hambone and even reinforcing that obstinance.
I would say the only thing that would make him cooperative is if he had someone back home that he wanted to see again. Telltale has sure done a good job at showing us that he doesn't give a fuck about almost everyone. It would be quite the twist. And I hope it isn't one of those fake-out things. But him actually showing real heart for someone.
I can see him straight up telling the kids where to go, in the assumption that they'll end up getting caught or killed anyway if they attempt a rescue.
He seemed to underestimate them quite a bit so far.

I personally wouldn't be too concerned about leading a handful of kids, without any real weapons, to my stronghold with who knows how many armed people.

Make him play truth or dare. A dare will be a torture method and the truth will be that he tells us what he wants. If he doesn't talk, we just go back to dare.
