AMCs TWD: Solving the Sanctuary Problem?

I just watched Season 9 episode 3 and it seems they're having a problem with building a bridge for the Sanctuary people.

In your opinion how could that be solved?

  • I'm thinking, why not just divide the sanctuary people among the Kingdom, Alexandria & Hilltop?

  • thzis would be the logical thing, but they have to develop the drama somehow and the writers felt like this was the best way

  • It wouldn't make sense, though. The Sanctuary is a very good potential base and losing that because of a destroyed bridge would be pretty dumb. Also dividing the ex-saviors into the other groups just doesn't work, since they are still seen as the enemy by a lot of people, especially Hilltop.

  • the sanctuary is a shitty base, run down, messy and probably smelly and has shown in the first episode they cant grow food so it dosent makes sense staying there. I can accept the second point, but the communities could employ them in doing difficult and dangerus labour to regain trust...some kind of low key slavery
