It's a pity James isn't a romance option. Maybe 3 ships would be just too much in dev's eyes. Or it would make Telltale/skybound homophobic since that would be 2:1 hetero vs homo options.
It's never good to have 3 ships, just look at the Olympic, Titantic, and Britannic, they all sank. Valve knows this too, so that's why they never release Half Life 3. For real tho blame Sony for Spider-Man 3 as they forced Sam Raimi to put Venom in the movie, and he had to juggle the symbiote, Sandman, and Harry becoming the new Goblin. Originally it was just Sandman and Harry, adding Venom ruined it.
