If you could choose any fate for the unknown status characters, what would it be?

Like the title says, choose any unknown status character and give them your ideal fate.

This includes Christa, the 400 Days characters, Molly, Vernon and his group, Kate if she disappeared in your ending, David if he left in your ending, etc etc.

  • Unfortunately I'd say Christa is dead. I'd like to think Molly is still out there though. Vernon and his group are 100% dead. Mike died saving Arvo but he then died later anyway. Joan died by the herd.

  • Christa: The attackers finally reveal their video camera and that it was just a prank, bro.
Vernon: It turns out that he has sea sickness. Bad sea sickness. Also, the boat springs a leak. 500 miles out into the ocean.
Arvo: Dies via gunshot by 10 year old girl
Mike: Dies via falling down some stairs while carrying two trips worth of things in one trip.

  • I think Molly is still out there as well. Do you think she stayed in Savannah or moved on? And where else could she even go?

Vernon is definitely dead imo even though others believe it's not so cut and dry. The rest of his group besides Clive were all old people so they are 100% dead. I just wonder if Clive died during Romans tenure as a scavenger/bandit.

Fortunately I killed Joan on my play through so she didn't escape justice. I wouldn't mind if Clive survived and found a garden to tend to somewhere because he wasn't actually a bad dude.

  • I hope Glenn and Paul are still alive somewhere, at least.

S2 Wellington ending Kenny is still alive (if Clem leaves Kenny), Christa is alive aswell, Nate from 400 days is alive too because he is a tough motherfucker just like Molly, I don't care about the rest of characters who have unknown status.
I hope Mike and Arvo are both dead.

  • Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo are all dead. Bonnie relapsed and overdosed, Arvo was chewed up by walkers because of his leg, and Mike was shot several times as he slowly bled out.

  • I mean I could tell you if you don't mind comic spoilers

I mostly meant in the game universe since I already know that comic/tv show Glenn was killed with Lucille and Paul is still alive, thank you though lol. Hopefully Glenn has a better fate in the games than the other versions of his character.

  • I like to think that Mike, Bonnie and Arvo are getting eaten by walker Kate in my game. ?

  • Oh, yikes. I wasn't aware of that.

  • Most of them are alive/surviving as far as I care. Vernon being the possible main exception.

Like, I did have expectations and/or ideas that I guess I still maintain in some fashion for what some of them are up to and/or were ideally gonna do, but I'm not really thinking about it at the moment.

  • She definitely would have left, pretty sure she left the city after leaving Lee's group. I think Vernon stole the boat and abandoned the group, then realised he can't fish and starved. I wish I had killed Joan, I just like to think she ran from David only to run into the herd

  • Vernon - Shot by Roman after going nuts over the boat.
Christa - A walker roaming around North Carolina.
Mike - Kills Arvo for food, but dies anyway from the cold.
Bonnie - Kills herself from grief over Luke and feeling hopeless.
Arvo - Mercy Killed by Mike because his leg gets so badly infected that his chances of living were slim anyway.
    Max - Eaten by walkers
    Joan - Eaten by walkers
    Clint - Eaten by walkers
Dr. Lingard - Still alive in the New Frontier, becomes Javier’s right hand man.
Sophie - Killed after a bad firefight with the Northern community, spurring on Minnerva to fight for revenge.

Vernon - Raped by ruthless cannibalistic raiders on the beaches of a remote island
Tortured on some voodoo island until flesh resembles bark. Eaten alive and turned into a totem pole to ward off other pirates with the words "human toilet" carved into his stomach.

Arvo - Foot caught in bear trap. Bear comes and eats him in ironic fashion.

Christa - Finds a new life with a new man. Safe camp. Happy

David - Shows up and mends things with Javi. They bond.

Molly - Setted up shelted in a remote bell tower with other settlers. Working on anicdotes.

  • The replies in this thread, cheez-its.

  • Here's something else I had in my drafts for a good while.:

    • In terms of a character that could've returned with a semi-major role, it used to be Arvo, but that died out during the "hype" for "Season 3," even if I still feel there is a number of interesting directions they can use him for.
    • Tavia was another one, but she might be a bit low in the potential scope. And Becca is quite frankly obsolete at this point in the game, with or without flanderization in either direction to help her out.
    • Javier and Gabe were always meant to be put on a bus( even if Telltale wanted to bring them back, it was gonna be a while), though Telltale definitely pricked the fuck out of their foot in From the Gallows.
    • Lilly is definitely due for a loving comeback though, since she's in a neutral zone anyway and like Arvo (and originally Bonnie), left the spotlight with a hook should she ever return. But she deserves a lot of love anyway given Season 2 and that crossover element that fell through.
    • Christa...I honestly don't know. She could probably return as well since she's a big mystery and the series has been gyping her of credit for quite some time, but I don't think I/Telltale care too much.
    • And Molly...can just stay gone. Give her a Michonne style miniseries since she's pretty comicbooky anyway.
    • I for one would definitely love if Telltale were to bring to Kate back for some much needed limelight for the appropriate players to make up for the increasing amount of neglect she got in ANF. I'm not holding my breath, however.
  • molly/alive
vernon/alive i want to kill him my self
Christa not interested too much in her so i don care that much if she alive or dead
    becca n her/sister alive
    nate/alive
what left of the 400 days dlc can go and die
    mike/Bonnie/the same as Christa
arvo alive/i want to skin him alive.

  • Christa - Still healing from her encounter with the bandits, she struggles on toward a mythical refuge she isn't even sure exists. Kenny crosses her path, and they both bunker down to ride out a bad winter storm, refuel, and exchange their stories. Together they both return for Clementine to find Wellington destroyed, no sign of either children, and depart distraught. Kenny's still hopeful they're both out there somewhere.
Mike and Arvo - Feeling guilty, and worried about Clementine Mike wanted to go back. As bad as it was going to be facing Kenny and Jane, it was worse living with the thought he might've exchanged one child's life for another. Arvo argued against it with their meager supplies, and unwilling to endure Kenny again. Unable to dissuade Mike, he holds him at gun point desperate not to return but not wanting to be on his own. Accidentally fires when Mike reaches for the gun while he was wanting to pull it away, Arvo is left with more blood on his hands.

    See, this is actually interesting.
