He had every right to be upset, more than anyone.
Kicking them out, while technically a group effort headed by Mitch, was a bit hasty and over influenced by hurt, angry, and confused emotions.
You do actually keep in mind that you are expecting a kid to act fully mature after he just jost the most important person in his life? Besi… moredes, he had every right to kick them out. They were ambushed by those assholes in the woods unfortunatelly, but it still doesn't make him any wrong.
He did, but the fact is that Marlon dropped his weapon willingly. Of course, you could rush him and take it from him, but if you wouldn't then he still would drop it.
You basically ignore the fact that AJ made a mistake and don't tell me it wasn't. You simply expect justice from Louis while AJ and Clem didn't give any justice to Marlon. You know how people like that are called? H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E.

Ironic. Did Louis keep in mind that Marlon had just unapologetically tried to kill the kid's "most important person in his life", hell, the only one he's ever known, twice, with no reason other than cowardice and self interest, after they had promised her care and protection? After she helped them with their struggles? Did Louis keep in mind that his "friend" intended to sell the kid himself to wood raiders, after pinning his own disgusting murder on his caretaker and executing her like an animal in front of everyone?
Don't ask me to care about Louis's grief when the guy himself doesn't care about anything Clem or AJ felt in the moment everything went down.
I don’t believe I am ignoring an inch of the situation. That you think Marlon was the one who came out wronged in that situation does speak volumes about who’s ignoring major facts about it, though. When you consider how many dead bodies and suffering would’ve been left had he gotten his way, you would realize that Marlon only got about a third of what he actually deserved. But then again, you seem to be willingly blind to the gravity of what Marlon did and that it very much warranted the reaction AJ had. Clem would’ve done it if someone had tried to kill AJ in cold blood like that. So would Lee, Kenny and Jane for Clem. So would Rick for his son. So would almost pretty much every human being who had one of their loved ones wronged like that by a person like Marlon.
Louis himself also seems to ignore all this but only initially! Hell, even he takes little time to realize what a fucking “friend” he actually had and how wrong it was to blame AJ for react like he did.

What Marlon deserved was up to the whole group. They could decide to forgive him, they could decide to kick him, they could decide to lock him and they could even decide to execute him. THAT WAY it would be justified.
You don't see the whole image of the situation. Marlon dropped his weapon. If he hadn't dropped it and AJ shot him then trust me I wouldn't even say a word against it. But the fact is that Marlon SURRENDERED. And he wasn't a threat to them anymore after he has done it. That's why AJ killing him like this was wrong in every single way.
Louis didn't ignore anything. He still loves Marlon like a brother and he is just sad that he didn't help him enough with all the leadership duties. The only thing he realized is that it was NOT ONLY AJ and Clem's fault. Which means that it still was PARTLY their fault. And it was partly their fault.

Whaaaaaa? All this time I thought that she and Clem were just being good friends and being playful! Damn my world has been turned upside down! Totally never got that.
Agreed!! I think he would’ve still regretted it had they left forever, probably regret it immensely. It was a decision made in the moment because he could not face reality, but he overcame it. ?

Very few people are going to support kicking out Clem and AJ for the sheer reasoning that everyone adores Clementine, however the group still wasn't wrong to do it. If that had happened in Rick Grimes' group, AJ and Clementine would have been kicked out ( or if Carol was nearby, AJ might've been quietly killed. )
It's not Clementine's fault what happened to either Marlon or Brody, however Brody might not have died if Clementine hadn't eaves dropped on their conversation. Marlon lost his temper in the moment, and hadn't planned on killing her. His plan on giving up Clem and AJ to the group if they showed up again was more about trying to preserve his own people. It was equally wrong, but as far as we know the twins are alive.
Marlon wanted to go back for the twins. He earnestly did. He was simply afraid of attempting a rescue against a camp full of adults with guns against his friends that he had left. Louis stepped in front of Clementine, and talked Marlon down. Then he had his best friend's brains splattered across his face after he'd begged for a chance.
This is why I chose Louis to save. He loved AJ from the moment he came into that camp. The boy took to him when he bit and hit others. He gave up his food for him, and defended both he and Clementine until that moment. For that he received the most human reactions - betrayal, guilt, anger.
If he's shot confronting Lily, he carries AJ in when Clementine can go no further. He doesn't blow Violet off to goof off -- he wants to practice his skills with Marlon's bow and try to get his head straight so he can defend those left. He's angry with himself, and comes to a lot of realizations of how much pressure Marlon was under carrying that burden alone.
I think it'd be sort of fitting for Louis to be a part of what Marlon wanted to do if it's possible - bringing the twins back. I think it'd do a lot for his character whereas Violet's path will deal more like unresolved girlfriend issues.
