Refund??

I think this is ridiculous that we have yet to received Season 3 of The Walking Dead. Episode 3 was posted to be released on November 6th 2018 and here it is a month and two days later and no episode!...???...I paid for the whole season pass and want a refund. How do I go about getting a refund?

Have you NOT been paying attention to anything going on in the last couple of months? Kind of hard for a defunct and bankrupt company to release a game, let alone give you a refund.

Skybound is working on the rest of the season, Episode 3 will be out hopefully soon, you'll get the damn game made by most of the original developers, just be patient.

  • Tfw you haven’t heard about the majority studio closure yet, even though it happened 3 months ago

You can’t say “be patient”. Nobody paid to be ripped off and told they’ll be reimbursed many months mater. Yeah, there’s nothing she nor anyone can do about it, but she has every right to be pissed.

  • I honestly don't know what to tell ya, dude. That's the risk involved with buying episodic download games.

With that said, you got some catchin up to do in regards to Telltale.

It's almost like some people got other, important things to do and focus on.

  • The episode is out 15th of January, I know you still have to wait (as we all do) and that can be frustrating, but you could wait an little bit longer and get the game? Would save you a lot of hassle dealing with whoever deals with refunds.

  • What's the opposite of a refund?

  • Penalty.

  • By that definition, a company on the verge of bankruptcy shouldn't have started production to begin with. They knowingly took customers money without promising the completition of the game. If Skybound didn't come along, everybody here would have been royaly fucked.

  • I think a refund would be pretty pointless at this point.

  • I honestly don't how if I should respond to that.

Well to be fair when Telltale announced the planned release dates they did say “Dates subject to change”. It’s not like they guaranteed you they would release on those days and knowing Telltale’s history with delays it was something that you honestly should’ve been prepared for if it were to arise. Their have been many instances where Telltale has released episodes 3 months later, this is definitely not a first time we’ve had to wait this long. So no, you were not “ripped off”.

Did they announce “we’ll soon be out of business and won’t be finishing TFS, leaving everyone who bought it royally fucked”? Should I have been prepared for that as well? I guess so, I mean, it’s not like they guaranteed to stay in business before releasing the game...

“we’ll soon be out of business, However; we will be finishing TFS with the original developers, leaving everyone who bought it with the finished product that we originally set out to make.”

    Fixed it for you.

How is that ripping you off? You’re getting the full game you payed for. It’s not like you were paying Telltale to stay in business lmao, you got everything you payed for.
