Little moments you love with Clementine and AJ?

Are there any little moments that don't involve major drama between AJ and Clem?

  • That dance AJ does when he wins at Rock Paper Scissors. The worst part is that I don't get to see it often because I wind up beating him when I try to lose.

  • I wish we got to see how Clementine taught AJ how to make coffee.

  • Clem and AJ need to have more happy moments. They talk about what it means to survive. They need to talk about what it means to live. She tells him to survive but she needs to tell him why. Explain the good things that life has to offer.

  • Do you think Tenn will be a good role model for AJ?

  • You put it in hot water

  • When AJ said he loves Clem. Gave me the warm fuzzies.

  • When Louis is playing the piano and you see AJ again

    [Tickle him]

  • Every scene with the two of them alone are the best parts of this season. I like their dynamic better than Lee and Clem tbh.

  • When he lays it on thicc.

    Wait, he makes coffee?
    Dang, it's been a while.

And this is why I think Episode 2 was overrated. It didn't have any real strong character development. Just a lot of weird pacing.

  • Sure, if he survives. Tenn is always talking about hope and how the world was before. He's a pretty uplifting character.

  • But basically the whole beginning scene of Episode 2 with them in the room alone together going about the Marlon incident and ending with AJ telling Clem he loves her is definitely my favorite moment so far.

  • Louis and a little of Ruby & Assim.

  • Oh my gosh, when he runs to her and she drops to her knees for that hug. <3

  • Agreed! I mean, Clem has been with him from day one. She is as close to a mom as he has ever had. As much as I didn't super love ANF, I loved how it showed Clem sort of go off the rails when she was separated from AJ. When she got him back she got back a lot of her heart and reason for living.

  • I hated putting a man's life on a rock, paper, scissors battle, but it was worth it for that dance.

  • As much as I ship Violet and Clem, this is why I like Louis. I think Clem has been so focused on surviving and providing for AJ for so long she hasn't had time to think about the good things or the whys. Being at the school, feeling safe, having food, has allowed her to relax a little and Louis really does a good job at getting Clem to enjoy the moment.

  • I love when Louis starts playing 'oh my darling Clementine', AJ's face is so adorable!

  • That one part where she can allow him to swear (if you had her say in episode 1 to watch the language) and he says "I really hate that fucking dickhead shit fuck"

  • Oh yeah i loved that too,i told him shit was the upper limit.

"I'd take a big shit on his head".

    Two totally different dynamics, though.

Lee is more like a surrogate babysitter and a mythical guardian angel.

Clem is for all intents and purposes AJ's mother.

  • I did that in my first game through. I didn't want AJ to swear because I want Clem to raise AJ the same way Lee raised her but it's to good to deny :D
