Can't buy from Steam?

I've come back after several months hiatus until Episode 3 comes out recently. The episode itself is great but that's not why I'm making this thread, I want to buy it for a friend, why can't I?

    You can only buy it from the epic games store on PC. It's no longer available to purchase on Steam.

    Epic games takes away a smaller percentage of the revenue from the developers than steam, and Skybound are trying to maximize their profits since a large majority of the money made when the game was first released was made by the now defunct Telltale.

    The epic games store for pc players skybound and epic games store have some sort of deal were you can only buy TFS from them while honoring the season pass that was on rival game stores
