Did anyone else become a fan of AJ's character in Episode 3?

I mean Tayla Parx acted the hell out of AJ in Episode 3. She needs more work in voice acting.

  • Well I was already a fan, but you're really getting a feel of how our choices are impacting his outlook and worldview, as well as his love for Clem. It all feels so genuine when you see them interact, both have a deep attachment to the other.

  • I somewhat did. When I told him to attack that woman who was gonna chop off Louis’ pinky, he bit her ear off. And he stabbed Lily and bit her hand, both of which I enjoyed seeing. So yeah, he’s approaching my good side

  • AJ's protectiveness over Tenn's mistake when Willy kept berating him for it was adorable.

  • He’s getting on my side a bit, we just got a watch out for him he’s got a Carver temper that’s for sure.

  • So good! Him dancing at the party was so adorable and the whole beach ball thing. I'm so glad he gets to be a kid for once.

  • Little bit. Feel like a set way too many bad examples in this one though despite getting mad at “savage AJ” in the past. Gonna replay, see what happens if I be silent when AJ shoots Lilly. Hopefully she’ll still die but won’t get soaked in bullets. Idk. Hoping I can set a better example in the next episode, but it’s so hard to have him watching me when I want to make the fun decisions.

  • No.
Like Conrad, I like AJ before it was apparently cool. Finally.

  • Heck yeah i did! He killed Lilly in my play through and played beach ball

  • Dorian.

  • I already liked AJ and this just keeps cementing it. He's such a deep character. I love the questions he asks, I love how close he is to Clementine, to the point where he'd rather she bite him too if she were ever bitten than shoot or abandon her, and just how savage that little man can be in a pinch. He's capable of so much, both good and evil and that's so compelling.

  • I was already a big fan. The beginning stare before the intro when he looks at the dead body of Abel is chilling. AJ as a character is just chilling to me. The way he reacts to your every choice is different from Clem at that age. Clem was scared when you did controversial things around her. AJ just seems to...take it in and I don't know what that's doing to him and that's what's so chilling about his character.

Also pumping Lilly full of holes ain't a bad way to go either.

  • I started off episode 2 thinking AJ was a irrational little monster and I was beyond nervous about how his character would shape as quick tempered and disobedient he was but now he's touched my heart more than any single character in the franchise probably and he's truly a brave fucking warrior for good. His bravery and pure unfiltered genuine Love for Clementine is something that was conveyed so much in this episode. And his fierceness in defending those he cares about is just astounding. He is dependent on your lead and although I let him kill again, I'm very proud of him. AJ is awesome and I love him.

While James, Tenn and everyone else crumbles, AJ risks his safety to bite an armed guards ear off, face to face with death, stabbing people twice his size to save Clem. And he's only a kid but has more heart than almost anyone.

A great character and a great voice actor.

  • It really amazes me that Gabe and Ben were shitbirds but AJ a damn 6 year old toddler is more useful than those two

AJ feels the most real out of any of the characters. Big props to the voice actor and the writers.

  • I told him to always leave the last bullet for himself, but he pumped every last one into Lilly. Bad AJ...

  • AJ is good he saved Louis/violet from loosing a finger by biting he woman's ear off then those the school a favour by killing Lilly

  • i always liked him from the start especially his voice i think the voice actress nailed him.
