Making AJ Kill Clementine Is Harsher than Clementine Killing Lee
Shooting or leaving Lee to turn might've been heartbreaking but more much doable for Clementine because she already had people set up to look after her: Christa and Omid. Also, Lee isn't her father. She knew her real parents for years. She knew Lee for months. Yeah, she grew to care for him deeply during that time, but it was still possible to let him go.
Clementine is literally all AJ has and I haven't seen Clementine set anyone up to look after AJ should something happen to her. AJ's never known his real parents because they were killed in his infancy. Clementine has raised and mothered AJ for years. He spent a small amount of time on the ranch, but it wasn't enough for AJ to lose his attachment to her, especially when she found him again.
Clementine certainly didn't want to leave Lee, but AJ is actually willing to die alongside Clementine because he can't see himself living alone without her. How can he? She's asking him to take away a part of himself far more vital.
So yeah, those are my thoughts.

Louis will take care of AJ. If Clem dies then AJ will be in much better hands than he was before. Of course if he survives.
Clementine killing AJ would be way worst. The flame inside Clem would be turned off for ever.
As long as you mean the Louis with a tongue still attached. The other may not be as effective.
To be honest I would really rather have Louis without tongue to take care of him than Violet. She's done for me after Episode 3.
Very true.
I don't see that happening. The amount of "foreshadowing" is ridiculous.
It not happening at this point wouldn't be unique and varied. It would be anti-climactic.
That's why I think there will be determinant endings in which Clem either lives or dies. Best case scenario really.
That's fair. I just want them to be alright.
Yeah, unfortunately I am a sick bastard and I'd like to see some angst...
Hopefully we'll all get what we want!
