I'm sure if louis did what alternative vi did the people who aren't willing to give alternative vi a chance to redeem herself wouldn't give that alternative louis a chance to redeem himself either. And I'm sure they would have no problem killing that alternative louis the first chance they get like they want to or plan to kill that alternative vi the first chance they get. Yup. And I hope the people who think that marlon deserved a second chance aren't in the group of people who wont or aren't willing to give alternative vi a chance when that vi didn't do nearly anything as horrible or bad as marlon did, planned on doing, and had no problem doing.
it's like that vi's dialogue, motivations, and thought process go ignored or are made completely irrelevant by some people and that vi's actions are the only thing that's given attention plus focus and it is due to those actions with everything else and every factor that lead up to said actions being discarded or not cared about that to some people is irredeemable. Forget letting that vi at least try to redeem herself. Nope that vi has to die. I'm really curious that if louis was the one who did what that vi did would there be a thread titled does louis deserve to die after what he has done? and what the team louis people would say to that.
He just hates Violet, some people here actually really hated her for a long time and they just needed an excuse and Episode 3 gave them one.
So far she was handled like a boss in the first two episodes, but she can "betray you" in episode 3 so now most of them are like "FUCK HER LOL" it's like everyone forgets that if you saved her, she's loyal as fuck and shoots Minnie to save you.
I'm not saying everyone hates her but barely anyone here talked about the Violet path only "her betrayal" in the louis path.

I friend zoned/saved Violet on my main play through. Even though I was super horrified and sad about Louis losing his tongue, I think it was an all around better ending. Either he loses a tongue or falls apart after killing that lady, he's broken either way. Violet may stay with Minnie no matter what, but it feels much better when you saved her.
Question, did anyone romance Violet and then save Louis, are there any different dialogue options?
I know not everyone hates the louis path vi which is good and nice to know. And I'm glad there are people who are just conflicted about the louis path vi and aren't in the group of people who are like automatic death penalty. No chance at redemption, to be saved, etc. This is also only the louis version of vi who could still do something in ep 4 to make amends or atone for her most horrible and evil actions. Even if the louis version of vi winds up sacrificing herself as a means to do that. Also just imagine this. If you're the louis path vi you spent all ep 2 defended clem and protected aj, and voting for aj and clem to stay then clem either becomes your gf after kissing you, confesses to having feelings for you, or becomes a close friend and then when clem has the choice or option to save you sometime after on the same night one of those things happened she doesn't. And considering the backstory and getting brought to this horrible place where your brainwashed ex is and etc. even though clem comes to save you considering the baggage, past experiences, and everything that occurred before hand I don't think this version of vi actions should automatically give her the instant death penalty. Especially considering the louis path vi could do something in ep 4 to redeem the actions that were made in ep 3.

There are differences in dialogue options. They are a lot more emotional, but still Violet betrays the group.
I actually think that he will get over killing Dorian. Him without tongue? Well it's Louis afterall. He will find his way back from everything, but that's still a thing he will have to live for the rest of his life.

I didn't hate her. I heavily disliked her for a long time due to her absolutely shitty personality in Episode 1. In Episode 2 she managed to gain a bit in my eyes, but still I always knew that I'd never be best friends with her.
Episode 3 isn't an excuse. It's a simple betrayal - why does it matter if she is loyal in different path? By seeing what she has done you can easily understand that she's not trustworthy and that she will ditch you whenever she will want to.

Okay great. If The Raiders wouldn't attack then I could expect Violet to stab me in my sleep because I romanced Louis. It surely would be an act of disloyality to Violet.

Violet doesn't even know about it if I'm not mistaken. Same goes to Louis if you romance Violet.
Anyway, I still could expect her to do something to me since she could find it me betraying her, right? I don't think we should keep this discussion really. To me what she has done is obvious. You look at it different way. We're both too attached to our opinions.
Ditto. I get why Violet was hurt. Sure, she could have handled it better, (I mean Aasim and Omar got taken too but they don't hold it against you and neither does Louis in the alternative path) but I understand it.
I don't think any character "deserve to die", no matter their actions, I have a firm belief in allowing them to live. I don't blame Violet f… moreor being upset at not being saved by Clementine, she may know Clementine could only pick either Louis or her, but it doesn't make the hurt or pain feel any less severe or damaging. I saved Louis, and I stand by my decision, I was a bit frustrated that Violet acted the way she did, but I don't hold it against her, I would be annoyed too, I think almost everyone would feel annoyed
Regardless of the fact that Violet is one of my favorite characters in this season and I actually saved her, I totally don't think she deserves to die in that alternate version. Thinking of the way she acts when Clem doesn't save her, I am pretty pissed off, but I kinda understand where it comes from. At the start I just thought her acting was out of character and exaggerated. But after I read a couple of posts written by other players, I can see that her reaction was understandable, yet not fully justified. In the playthrough where Clem saves Louis, she is traumatized and already a bit brainwashed and influenced by Minerva by the time she gets into the prison. As many others already said, she also has build up trusting issues since the incident with her grandmother. So her fear of being betrayed or left behind is likely one of the biggest ones she has and exactly that just happened. Atleast she feels like it did, even though that's not the case because it was impossible for Clem to save both of them. Still, Violet just can't see that (atleast not yet) and says the situation they all are in is fucked up. So in my opinion her saying that all Clementine has caused is pain or death happens just out of frustration and anger. Added to that, her beating Minerva unconscious doesn't really help her getting over their situation. It's obvious that their relationship towards each other is now really complicated and pretty unclear, so it will take time until Violet learns to trust and forgive her again, but also Clem forgiving her for letting them all down by refusing to help with escaping.
I just hope that there is still a chance for them to go on and talk things out and gain each others trust back, atleast a little. If not, I think It's just really disappointing. But yet, when I compare the consequences that happen when you save her with those that happen when you save Louis, this is still acceptable after all(?) Of course I'm not happy about how things turned out both ways, but you know what I mean.
Will you give louis path vi a chance to redeem herself? and vi wouldn't stab you in your sleep if she found out you were with louis. Vi cares about louis. She went with clem to save everyone and especially louis. And try to remember non louis path vi's actions in previous episodes and in the current ep. Defending aj, and voting for clem and aj to stay. Being upset when clem and aj had to leave. Being glad to see clem return, killing a walker to save clem determinately. Being thankful if clem and aj pay their respects to the twins. Standing in front of a gun to protect clem with her weapon drawn. Making mitch go with clem to protect her. Defending clem when mini was blaming clem, shooting mini to save clem and not to mention all of dialogue and interactions non louis path vi has about clem and with clem. In ep 2 vi is there for you all throughout the entirety of it no matter what.

Im not going to kill her (will kill that ginger shes with though) but not going to shed any tears if she gets eaten

Maikel, why did have to make this?

The Violentine fans are here in full force lol

Nah she doesn’t deserve death. I was put off by her anger and I still am but she doesn’t have to die for it, yeesh. Can’t we just love them both?
When Louis tries to make jokes in episode 4 but he has no tongue
I want to know what people will do with that traitor. She was a friend for a while, but now?
Well looks like we won't find out because Louis is loyal till the end.

I'm in a "i do not know what to do with you" situation. Like maybe instead of quit being a bit*h since i still came all the way to rescue you.

Not if you are loyal to her like she was to you, duh
Saving Louis at the end wasn't an act of disloyality.
It was in Violet's eyes
Okay great. If The Raiders wouldn't attack then I could expect Violet to stab me in my sleep because I romanced Louis. It surely would be an act of disloyality to Violet.
You can romance Louis and Violet is fine with it
Violet doesn't even know about it if I'm not mistaken. Same goes to Louis if you romance Violet.

Is she?
I've been pretty neglectful of that aspect, obviously, but do they know/learn if you get romantic with the other one?
I always thought they figure it out based on who you pick to spend your evening with
Just because she saw it as such doesn’t make it so.
...Meh.
She will not be missed and neither will the other adolescents because they are forgetful characters.

Captured Violet is definitely going to die next episode. Along with Tongueless Louis. They already have the set-up.
If she will defend Minerva and I'm sure as hell she will then she's dying the first time I have a chance to.
Figured. Well hopefully you let things play out first before deciding if you're going to kill captured vi or not.
lol implying violet could handle clem in a fight, it wouldn't be difficult
All I know is that vi isn't going to die in my playthrough.
Violet weights probably 25kg at best so I wonder how the hell she didn't break her legs while walking.
While louis is a joker hes still more mature than violet. Shes another Kenny "side with me every time or you are dead to me"
Im not going to kill her (will kill that ginger shes with though) but not going to shed any tears if she gets eaten
Well said brother.
I wouldn't call her a Kenny.
There's multiple instances where you can Violet to fuck off and she's not at all bothered by your treatment.
