no actually i gave it a 10/10. it's pretty great. i'm "not okay" with the comic book it's based off of because it sucks, but the adaptation of the original work really outshines the original in terms of substance and style. it's shot brilliantly with some meaningful symbolism, the score mixed with the tracks chosen build up the town Syd lives in perfectly. every character has an arc that's seen through to the end, and when the show wants to get tense it's incredibly fucking tense.
it's a great example of transforming something shallow and flat into something powerful and potent. it was also a very good choice to change the comic book's original bleak and pointless ending to one that opens the door for more development for all the characters and more exploration in super powers.
i'm very excited for whenever a season two is made, and still very impressed by how the show managed to fit 8 hours worth of great character work into 3 and a half hours without sacrificing any quality.

A gorgeous game about mental illness.
Senua, a female Celtic warrior -- believed to be "cursed" with a dark presence (actually psychosis)… more -- makes a journey through the land of the Gods to save her lover from the depths of Helheim.
It's a really unique story-based/action game. The inclusion of binaural audio (heard if you use headphones) lets you experience Senua's own mental struggles, with a surrounding chorus of inner voices, speaking to you and to Senua... you're never sure which one is trustworthy.
Lots of crazy cool entertainment news today.
Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima got a release date. June 26th, not even a month after TLOUP… moretII.
Speaking of, The Last of Us could be getting a TV series at HBO.

HOLY SHIT! I don't think anyone saw this coming. A new Amnesia game which is the true sequel to The Dark Descent, not that shitty "A Machine For Pigs" which felt more like a spin off and I haven't even finished it.
This needs to be good. Hope it doesn't end in the same way with Outlast 2.
Whenever people ask me why I started listening to metal, I like to tell them it was because of my childhood. This is followed by a strange look from them, but it’s the truth. How can I not when so many shows I was raised on featured heavy metal so prominently.
Duck Dodgers - Megadeth (with Dave Mustaine voicing himself)
Fairly Odd Parents - KISS (best clip I could find)
Married With Children (maybe not a kids show, but I certainly remember watching episodes of it when I was younger, including this one) - Anthrax
Kids Next Door - GWAR (this one is a fun one because the writers of the show actually worked with the band to re-record and write new lyrics for the show based on two GWAR songs, Private Pain of Techno Destructo, and Gor Gor)
And easily the best example: Spongebob, with a few different bands.
Pantera (instrumental version of their song Death Rattle)
Motörhead (re-recorded their song “You Better Run” into “You Better Swim” for the first movie)
Twisted Sister (“I Wanna Rock” used as basis for “I’m a Goofy Goober)
As I just found out, the lead singer of Twisted Sister, Dee Snider, voiced a character in a later episode of Spongebob.

Same, not only Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy but I got so hocked like that (Batle Of The Bands) theme.
But DragonBallZ : The Legendary Super Saiyan
Followed by Coolers Revenge
And Lord Slug
That's why I couldn't get enough metal that and high school when I was in weight lifting .
Then here I am listening to 98 Rock and going on spotify listening to more metal bands that I haven't got a chance to get into.

Just going to put it out there for the web team/person: it would be nice if this website didn't need to link to an outside image-sharing website (I.e.: Imgur) to be able to include images in posts.

For a number of complicated reasons, that probably isn't likely to happen. If a website hosts their own local content, that can incur all kinds of complications for image storage (server costs), legal/copyright reasons, abuse of the image storage (people uploading bad stuff), etc. The TL:DR summary is that that would put Telltale instead of imgur in charge of handling issues for security, copyright, abuse, etc.
Taking into consideration multiple circumstances that I am aware of, and the kinds of abuse this would invite in worst-case scenarios, this would probably be a bad idea. (Plus, I'm not sure if the software this forum runs on would even support direct image uploads.)

I'm more nervous about the reaction of so many people than coronavirus itself. People in Australia are losing their minds even though there have been less than 100 cases so far and only a few deaths. My mum couldn't find toilet paper at any local supermarket this past weekend, and people are actually getting into fights over what little is left.

Yeah I've heard that a lot of stores are empty within an hour of opening.
Honestly people are acting as if this outbreak is gonna end the world. It's serious, but the vast majority of deaths so far have been elderly or people with existing medical conditions. The chances of even catching it are unlikely, especially if people take care to wash their hands properly and cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze. And only a small portion of confirmed cases have resulted in deaths.
Yep saw the news article about the fight that was in a Woolie's in Sydney(?)
What a time to be alive.
I've been told I've gotta go early in the morning if I wanna get any tp.
What I hate even more however, is thinking of the perfect/truthful answer for your "thing(s) I do outside of school" question, and still forgetting to mention a big chunk of that thought.
School was kinda ok I’ll be honest I remember I had to right the question and the answer in a sheet of paper or notebook for exams it was easy but the (teachers) most of them were ok some I And pardon my langue (incompetent) when it came to social issues but hey.
God I hate classroom first introductions.

So, I assume you're "not okay" with this show?

Oh, that all sounds pretty cool. I haven't heard much about it, but I guess I should check it out then.
Oh, okay.
I am thinking of watching it.
A video essay on video games' validity as art from some PBS-created/sponsored YouTube channel(?)
It's pretty surprising how many games are featured in this video, from old to new, small to big, popular to obscure...
got our selves a mystery on our hands gang

Interesting, it sounds like God of War but with a more mental take on it.
Saw this at the gaming awards looked promising it also kind of reminds me of Assassins Creed in a sense .
Bro I deadass havent been here in so long I forgot how formatting works and everything. Also hi, forum OG’s I missed you all.
Saw Onward at my theater tonight, it was a good movie.
Pudding.
JELL-O Pudding is guilty by default.
I'm excited for that, but sadly Australia usually gets Disney animated movies later than everyone else for some reason. Did you get the feels?

I felt feelings, but not in the way I had been expecting going by the only trailer I saw.
2 more weeks until I can rip and tear again, the anticipation is killing me.

I have been waiting for this.

A swedish treasure not soon forgotten. A celebrity death hasn't hit me this hard since Sir Christopher Lee died I think.
Ah, makes sense.
Thanks for the explanation, Blind.
Lol as a Chinese guy I'm now too afraid to sneeze or cough in public. Also I am having trouble finding toilet paper, and I'm on my last two rolls.

This flue is everywhere now, be careful people.
Sooo, is post malone okay?

So I took this photo in Red Dead Redemption 2. Thought it was cool:
Wonder what virus is going to trend five to ten years from now?

The education I’ll give it a B+ on some stuff .
It’ll come to pass , remember the swine flu back in 09 and that was a thing of the past now this new threat I’ll be just like everything else...
Nothing lasts forever.
