I bought Sam and Max Season 1. Anyway to link it to my telltale account?

I bought the game from best buy and I'm looking to link it to my telltale account. Any way to do this? I'd really like to be able to use the downloadable versions then have to have the cd in every time I play (I game while at work on my laptop. I can have an internet connection but the cd drive has to use work related software). I thought the game would contain a serial code so I would be able to do this but it did not.

    Ooooh, is Telltale willing to let people have the downloaded version if they bought from a retailer? :D I bought from Amazon last December...

    I offered it to buttlovings4u due to the special circumstances of being at work and not having the CD drive available, but this isn't something we can do on a widespread basis, sorry. :( There's much too much manual labor involved in verifying that people actually bought a retail version of the game (and then, of course, there would be nothing stopping people from selling their retail version and holding onto the downloads, thus getting the game from us for free...)

    Anyway, I'm going to close this thread since I sense a can of worms on the verge of opening...
