Before you start criticizing about this being another Carley thread (and I know there's a lot) I just want to show you all something that I have stumbled upon the other day that I'm sure you'll all like.

It's a story that goes deeper into the relationship of Lee and Carley after the whole St. John incident, and it also explores the thoughts and feelings of each survivor in the group at the motel, kind of like in the TV series. Once you start reading this, I promise you that you are gonna be craving for more. ;)

    maybe if the formatting wasn't so retarded I would actually read it...
    just looking at the plain wall of text gives me headaches.

    This probably the best TWD game fanfic I've read. Great. Now I want to write fanfics too. :D

    I don't like one thing though, the Carley non-death scene. Would have been more realistic if a shot was still fired while Lee got Lilly and maybe Carley was injured but not fatal.

    And when was the RV Kenny's?

    On chapter 3 and so far it seems like a slice of life kind of story.

    Very loose plot but it's not like we have a whole selection to choose from on FF.net's 52 TWD fics.

    I want to let you all know that a new chapter of this story has now been updated. I've decided to add a poll to this thread. I would also like to know how the people of Telltale feel about this story.

    Eh I think it's okay. It's not REALLY good, but it's not bad. It's enjoyable, and I do read it from time to time.

    Well, shit, and here I thought I had gotten over the feels this game caused. I guess it's time to bring them back :(

    Read through 2 chapters so far. Ain't the best thing I've ever read, but it sure is pretty good for a fan fiction. Some of the things said or done seem out of character to me, occasionally, although that might have something to do with the writer having picked almost every choice differently from me. Reading about what goes on in the heads of characters as they talk is intriguing, even if to me it seems like it doesn't quite match the characters that I knew in the game.

    Oh, and furthermore, the topic title is a little misleading, at least so far the story doesn't seem to be just about Lee and Carley, all the characters are very much involved and their perspectives explored. Overall, it's an interesting take on what might have been. Though some of the romance parts, particularly from Carley's point of view, seem cheesy, but who knows, maybe that's how it would've turned out. Courtesy of TTG, we'll never know :D

    It's good. I am not crazy for fanfics...but this doesn't feel like a fanfic. It's a really good story and I'm glad it doesn't rely on the love scenes every chapter...

    As far as fanfics go, this one nailed it. Although so far it appears to go TOO well for them. I wonder how long before people start dying, and who? Also, after pouring this much into CarLee relationship, how will this guy deal with Lee's death? That'll be sad as fuck to read.

    When I saw this I rolled my eyes and expected another Carley and Lee romance story, with little detail on anyone. However it's really good! I guess I should apologise for making assumptions but they really detail out everyone particularly Ben and Lilly early on (I expected them to portray them as demonic or something) rather than just Lee and Carley.

    I will admit it is all going a bit to well now though. So many people are just surviving, with no apparent use for the story; though from the creators comments they clearly working on this.

    I am not really a fan-fic person and as for romance *blech*, however, this is very well done. I haven't finished yet but I plan to.
