edited September 2013 in The Walking Dead

Hey Guys,
I'm a Huge fan of The Walking Dead, and an even bigger fan of the game. I have decided to make a 'novelization' of the game on wattpad (This one's for Episode 1: A New Day). Check it out and tell me what you think (Only first few chapters are posted, more are coming including the 'tough' decisions from the game!) :http://www.wattpad.com/story/8462947-the-walking-dead-episode-1-a-new-day

Read everything you've made so far. All I can say is marvelous work. :)

  • Thanks! Planing on writing one for each episode in season 1.

Gave it a read. As someone who (still!) hasn't played the game, your work was a tad rough around the edges (which is more than forgivable), but is pretty good otherwise.

I look forward to future instalments.

  • Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a look again and work on it with my editor.

  • There was one line in particular that seemed a tad odd to me:

I was going through several emotions that I can’t fathom at the second.

It just seems a bit... I dunno. Possibly take a look at it, see if you can word it a little differently?

Also, the term "walkers" just seems to come out of nowhere, considering that Lee doesn't know that these things are zombies yet. Maybe just keep referring to them as "things" until someone explains what's going on?

  • Thanks for pointing it out to me. I was also considering to remove the 'walker' part however 'things' isn't really my favorite word, but regarding the audience and Lee himself, I'd think 'things' would be better until then. I'll make sure to give a little change to that part.
