edited September 2013 in Game Support

I just bought Jurassic Park (Mac version) for my son. It downloaded OK but when we try to open it it says 'the application Telltale games quit unexpectedly'. Please help!

  • Still waiting for help with Jurassic Park. Would someone from Telltale games please provide support or give me a refund for my $29.99.

    I can take a look.

    Please post your system information.

Open a terminal (e.g. by typing terminal into spotlight).
Run the system profiler to copy selected system information to the clipboard, by copying the command line below into the terminal and pressing enter:

system_profiler -detailLevel mini SPHardwareDataType SPSoftwareDataType SPDisplaysDataType SPAudioDataType | pbcopy

pbcopy already copied the output to the clipboard for you, instead of showing it in the terminal. All you have to do now is reply to this thread, make sure the cursor is in the reply input area, and press (Command + V) to paste it.

System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.8
    Memory: 2 GB

According to the System Requirements Jurassic Park requires at least

OS: Mac OS: Snow Leopard (10.6.X)
    Memory: 4 GB RAM

Updating to at least OS X 10.6 might help already.
I don't know if it really needs all the recommended memory to run at all though. It might work with less as well.

  • OK I'll try that.
Where are the system requirements listed? I could not find anything about them before we paid for this game.
