I just thought of another aspect regarding Clem's age: she needs to join some sort of group if she wants to survive for long. Yeah she can handle herself, but if she faces too many walkers at once, she could be done for.
One of the twitter posts from telltale showed a picture of Clem sitting across the table from a guy in a ball cap (for her sake, I hope it's not Nate, in spite of how entertaining he is) looking at him cautiously. The text in that tweet said that trust isn't always an option. Sometimes, you might be forced to work with someone who might harm you later on (rob you, use you as bait, etc.).
Most of the quick time moves in The Wolf Among Us have to do with dodging enemy attacks, not just smashing enemy faces. So I imagine a lot of Clem's action scenes will be about her using her small size and speed to get away from zombies (or living baddies), not so much trying to smash zombie heads (though probably there's some of that, too).
Story-wise, I think along the way she'll meet adults who will try to protect her. It seems natural that in the beginning she might be looking for another adult to be her guardian like Lee, but I think she'll quickly realize that nobody is half as good as Lee at keeping her safe. I imagine there may be a point in the first chapter where Clem can choose to stay with some well-intentioned bonehead who keeps making bad decisions or leave him and go off alone... and likely the choice to stay with the bonehead results in the bonehead getting them into a horribly dangerous situation which gets him killed and then Clem has to escape from the baddies (and then she ends up alone again anyway).
The screenshot of her looking at Lee's picture is probably from early in Chapter 1 when she is still alone and just missing Lee, but it could also be later after she has tried and failed to get help from other adults, and she is looking at the picture realizing that he cannot be replaced and she'll has to rely on herself to survive.
Maybe in future installments but not in S2. I am loving S2 right now, and i don't mind at all the choice for Clem as the playable character. I actually love that decision.
they said in the prest convricnce where not playing has her we are playing a different character through the hold game wear the people u see in the back ground could be omid and chiesa or two people from the grounp you just play as

I don't think she is going to find someone who will just protect her. This is roughly a year in to the apocalypse, most people wouldn't just look after her. She would have to pull her own weight. Secondly, I doubt many boneheads would be alive at this point. She is going to be cautious of anyone who she works with, and rightfully so (after the St. John's, who wouldn't be?).
You're right about one thing though. Nobody will be able to replace Lee. She knows that if it wasn't for him, she would have been killed five days into the outbreak at best. She could never repay that, and nobody can replace that.

To be honest, Clem wouldn't so much be relying on them as working with them. Not just any little girl can survive a year on their own in the apocalypse. The main reasons she would need a group are for are for protection against facing large groups of zombies alone and some medical care perhapse.
i don't know why she should be 11... She's 9 at the end of the first season, which we can assume that took barely more than 1 year. So if season 2 happens some months later, she'll be still 9 or at least 10.
Why do you want an older clementine?
She probably look older due to her African heritage in her blood starting to show. And remember Telltale saying "months" have passed since the… more last season, not "years". So I guess Clementine is ten years old as she just turned Nine where we left off in Season One. To sync up time with 400 Days I think it has been around nine months. So, if my calculations are correct she's almost 11. Makes me feel sad knowing she has been all alone, and probably still is.
Get ready for a heart ripping introduction cinematic showing her surviving between the seasons.

I personnaly want Omid to be dead !
I want a grown Christa. A mother Christa !
Or maybe the opposite, if Christa dies, Omid will be left and he could be the last chance. Then following in a 1 vs 1 fight : Omid vs Kenny resulting in the death of those tw... Clementine will grow herself really fast... And then she will be nothing more than an adulte !

Christa and Omid wind up in a settlement before Christa gives birth. Lets assume that she is 3 months into her pregnancy by the time we meat her (as doubt they would try to have a child in the apocalypse on their own). Christa gives birth to a healthy baby, but dies in the process. Omid is faced with the prospect of raising a child in this world, albeit from a relatively safe location.
That would be interesting to see. Omid kinda played second fiddle to Christa in season 1, it would be interesting to see how he acts on his own.
Now that I've had a chance to sleep on it, I can see some of the problems Clem's status as the new protagonist might pose. For example: The "YOU ARE DEAD" game over screens. These screens often lent some unintentional comedy to S1, but I know that with Clementine, I'll be trying to avoid them like the plague.
On one hand, playing as a nine-year-old during the zombie apocalypse makes the player feel more vulnerable than he/she ever has before, and that could offer a whole new layer of tension to the game. On the other hand, watching several dozen different ways of how a little girl can be horribly killed doesn't exactly sound enticing. Remember when Andy St. John tried to force Lee's face into the electric fence in episode 2? While you can get away with such a scene when the protagonist's a fully grown man, if you were to substitute Lee with Clementine, my only response would be, "What kind of unbelievable asshole would do that to a little girl?"
I'm hoping Telltale's already taken this into consideration, and treated Clem's non-canon death scenes accordingly. (Because, let's face it, she's going to have a LOT of death scenes...)
"What kind of unbelievable asshole would do that to a little girl?"
The type the apocalypse creates? After all, they were planning on killing her.
Also I think that death scenes will be brutal is a good thing. It's a way of punishing the player (emotionally in this case) for mistakes. Instead of loosing all your items, you are emotionally scarred, luckily I don't get many death scenes.
Finally, I doubt there will be many scenes where Clem gets into hand to hand combat with other survivors, only because she will probably loose badly. She has a hammer in one of the promotional pictures (the one where someone has a flashlight pointed at her and she is holding a cut on her left arm). Any combat she gets into with people is going to be brutal, but telltale will have to use it sparingly to make it realistic. She shouldn't be able to win fight after fight against fully grown men.
At least she could sneak up on people better than an adult could.

i think i'm going to feel more vulnerable. I mean with Lee you were strong enough to push the walkers off you, and punch etc, if you weren't carrying a weapon like the axe even if they were pinning you down - or fighting the stranger. I don't think clem would be able to do any that. But maybe she could fit through gaps, and catch people off guard. she would probably have to get a lot smarter to make up for her lack of physical strength.
I don't think we'll have alot of combat in Season Two. But I'm expecting alot of Q hitting and panic events to get the zombie off from her leg. But I guess a few times we'll have the gun combat system.

Maybe, but there's a difference between planning to kill a young girl and actually going out of your way to do it. Showing Clem getting killed by walkers is unavoidable; they're basically mindless beasts that eat anything and anyone. But you'd have to be one intensely loathsome human being to murder a little girl, and use the apocalypse to justify your actions. Sure, most people would get desperate and more than a little crazy during a zombie attack, but it takes a special kind of evil to slaughter nine-year-olds just because there isn't any law to stop you.

I meant it as a two-way street. I'm not saying Clementine will be completely dependent on anyone, but people in groups have to rely on each other if everything's to go well (which it won't, but still...).
I guess it's hard to judge too much about the 400 Day's survivors at this point. We only got a quick bit of insight on them.

It's not about having lots of death scenes. It's about not getting into much combat in the first place. You will not be able to fight through 5 walkers at the same time or fisticuff a fully grown man. However, she can bash a walker head with a hammer, and she could probably sneak up on someone and take them out.
We never really got to see much stealth in season 1 against other survivors. The closest we got was sneaking up on the old couple was Russell and trying to quietly take out Danny St. John in episode 2. It would be neat so see how full fledged stealth can work against another survivor.

Alright.
i hope clem remembers what she learned from lee
Vince and Russell! Off to the rescue!
I think Episode 1 is Clementine trying to find a safe place and survive. Which i'm sure both will happen.
If Clem ends up relying on the 400 Days crew, I'm still putting stock in Shel as the primary potential caretaker.

All it is is an estimation of her age. She probably is ten, but she definately won't be more than 11.

Nah. She just turned 9 in Episode 5. And they said "Many months have passed since the events in Season 1." Not years. I'd say about 3-4 months.
