Its the Walking dead absoultly anything can happen

Lee coming back to life beacause why not
Clem Curing the disease and bringing everyone who turned back to life
Aliens Intervening because of their Benevolence
The magical moon god coming down and granting Clem powers
Remember guys these are just Ideas no need to get mad at them

Look Guys im gunna drop the satire for a second. what ironpervhunter is saying on that thread is downright disgusting. The Defense that he as against most of the hate comments is that its the walking dead so anything including rape could happen. Some of the comments in defense of the subject are intelligent over there but ironpervhunter seems to be hiding behind these legitimate defenses and passing them off as his own. I personnally disagree with the Idea of Rape in TTG TWD. There is a Time and Place for commentary on Rape, the time is not now and the place is not TTG TWD. ESPECIALLY directed toward Clementine, Innocence incarnate. thats really all I have to say about that
Well if you don't mind continuing to drop the satire for just a little more, ironpervhunter did bring up a pretty valid point that the Walking Dead has hinted at child rape before with Jolene and her daughter. And if you listen to some the unused audio from episode 2, you can hear (an earlier version of) Ben describe watching bandits capture, gangrape, and then likely kill one of his female friends right in front of him. (It's around 1:50)
did you think about why they left Ben's part out? Most likely because the description of a Rape is almost worse than witnessing it yourself
As For Jolene and her daughter rather than going into the unnecessary details of their attacks or graphic representation of it its instead mentioned

I agree that ironpervhunter needs to shut up, he makes the whole thing look creepy, especially with his poor attempts at lightening up the atmosphere - humor is totally out of place about such a topic.
That being said, did you read my last comment on the thread and what did you think of it ?
There were a lot of parts that were left out and I honestly have no idea why some of them were. In this particular case, I see no reason to believe it was because they were trying to shy away from a sensitive subject matter. Until Mark Darin speaks up about this himself, though, all you or I can do is speculate about the reasoning behind the decision. But the fact of the matter is that not only can rape happen in Telltale's The Walking Dead, it has happened. So talking about rape being in a Season 2 isn't breaking new ground here. Moreover, the subject of rape is included here for the same reason that ironpervhunter suggested that it could be included in Season 2: to show how fucked up some people can be in a lawless world.
As for your 3 points on how ironpervhunter's suggestion is disturbing:
Look, I don't know much about ironpervhunter, but from what I've seen, I think your characterization of him is unfair. He wasn't suggesting that the assault would succeed. So all he's really suggesting is the possibility of a scene in which a creepy asshole goes after Clem, but she fends him off and gets away. That's it. Hardly worth crucifying the guy for.
Really, the most abhorrent post I've seen about what could happen to Clementine is my own, in which I suggest that a very explicit torture sequence involving Clementine would be very compelling. And I stand by that claim. So if anyone on here deserves to get hate thrown at them for wanting to put Clementine into sick, twisted scenarios, it's me.
I feel like some of you don't understand the joke or sarcasm Panda is trying to get through to you.
And you can't blame them either we're reading there're no emotions in the whole text whatsoever so It can be hard for some to understand it.
Your Argument was rather compelling but I feel that Ironpervhunter is just trying to get his own twisted agenda across by hiding behind others opinions and saying that that was his intention all along when it most certainly wasnt
That Being Said I think that were gunna have to agree to disagree on the subject of rape in media. the threat of rape should not be the new type of thrill for us in any media. Murder leaves corpes. Rape leaves victims. enough said
If you have read carefully I suggested a scenario where she gets grabbed by a creepy bloke like danny st john and she DOES escape and like I had typed down if you fail the QTE she dies no touching no rape just a game over now you are clearly taking this and making out I am a rapist or pedophile myself and have taking what I have said and twisted them around I am in no way saying we should see a person being raped nor molested. In fairness I see why and respect your opinion and disgust but do not even dare try to make me and the others who even slightly sided with what I have said sound like monsters.to each his own.
