I hope Clem meets that bitch Becca...

  • I still don't get why people are so harsh with Becca. There's waaaaaaaaaaay worse than her around coughCarlcough. And I doubt Clem could kick her ass. Becca is older, bigger and probably meaner. Except maybe if Clem shoots her....

Clem is strong and she can do anything. Lee's words!

Except maybe if Clem shoots her....

If we're given the choice to shoot the Becca, I won't even hesitate to do so. That little bitch was absolutely disgusting in 400 Days.

I don't like Becca but why would Clem want to do anything to her just because some of us don't like her? Unless Becca does something to Clem, then that's a whole different story.

I'd grab a walker, put it in chains, and put it behind becca and when she screams I can sarcastically say

OMG LOL IT WAS JUST A JOKE THERE'S NO NEED TO BE SO PISSED OFF.

  • Haha, bist du krass drauf ;)))

  • I didn't like Becca's bratty attitude, either

  • Someone needs to slap that bitch with a flashlight.

  • Whys everyone so hard on becca she was 200 days into a zombie outbreak I wouldn't be that nice. Calm down.

  • Agreed.

  • I like badass and evil charatchers like Nate, Saint John brothers, Lee or Lilly, I mean I even liked Ben and he's nothing like the charatchers I'm used to like, but I understood him. But I really didn't liked Becca, I'm not syaing she must die... But Shel was looking for her and I didn't kill that stupid fat chineses dude (or whatever his nationality, not trying to be racist people, just talking as a joke...) because I was trying not to traumatize her and she is allways barking at SHel... And then I run with the RV and she wants to stay at a place where some dude where some guy thinks he's the boss... No charatcher of mine is going to stay at a place where somedoby bosses them around... I didn't liked Becca, besides understanding her reasons to be like that... And about the "it was just a joke bit" come on... I say everything bad about her, but it was actually just a joke. If it was me maybe I would have shoot her in the face, but it owuld be ok because it was a joke :P

400 Days didn't grant a huge amount of time to explore her character, but I think people are harsh on Becca as well. It's not like she's at Carl levels of sociopath, she's a young teen becoming increasingly pragmatic in a survivalist setting. Either way, I'm glad Telltale didn't just make her a copy of Clementine.

Though I do think it could be interesting for the two of them to interact, along with the rest of the 400 Days group.

  • Wasn't Becca specifically designed to be a bit of an 'anti-Clem'? That is, a young girl under the protection of an older guardian who actually pushes that guardian in the direction of ruthlessness and pragmatism?

I think an encounter between Clem and Becca could be quite interesting, though Clem 'kicking her ass' is more than a bit of a stretch. Really, it's a bit difficult to imagine Clem wanting to kick anyone's ass.

  • Hahaha. I agree!!

  • Good way of putting it actually, in terms of Clementine playing as your moral compass and Becca endorsing actions in a more calculating fashion.

I'd like to see them play off of each other. It could be conflictual regarding their viewpoints, but I like the idea of building some insight on this initial contrast between the two of them.

  • I think that we should all give Becca the benefit of the doubt, she was a little bitch I get that but we only had her bitchy attitude for like 20 minutes. Hopefully we will get in depth of her character in season 2, she is really just trying to prove herself to the adult members and developing to young adulthood. Clem may be like this in season 2. It would be difficult for a child's opinion to be valued in group discussions and this is why I think she has such a ruthless attitude.

  • I actually liked Becca's spirit and followed her advice.

    When referring to Stephanie
Becca: "Oh FINE, I'll do it."
Shel: "Go on, you shoot her then!"
Becca: "NO IT'S NOT MY TURN"
I don't care what anyone say's, she's a rude brat, and if there was an option to punch her in the face then kame-hame-ha her I would be on that shit in two seconds.

  • Seconded. I think it's sad how a lot of people seem to view characters as either one-dimensionally good or one-dimensionally bad right off the bat.

I'd rather have a story and character arc build upon a group of flawed and contrasting personalities than a group of total paragons.

  • That exchange just shows, that Becca is not as tough as she wants to be. "It's not my turn" is an obvious excuse, because she doesn't really want to do it. She acts "tough" because she knows Shel is the one who has to do it.

She is 15, isn't she? How many "tough guys" that age have you seen? How many of them aren't tough at all? So in the end, Becca ist pretty average for a teenager. And that doesn't even factor in the zombie apocalypse.

  • Well, there wasn't much that Becca did to make me like her. In the slightest. I could list everything, but that would take too long, so I'll suffice to say that she came across as a stupid, cold, heartless little brat. I was even willing to try and look past all that until the Stephanie situation.

    Becca: We whould kill her.
    Me/Shel: Wait, what?
Becca: If you don't I will. Stop being a pussy (paraphrased).

THAT is where I couldn't stop thinking "What the fuck is wrong you?!" She's gonna have to have the CURE in her blood in order for me to tolerate her crap if she keeps up like this the next time we meet her.

  • I agree completely, Its just like Larry in season 1. The season would not be the same without his whining and complaining, characters like him and Becca are what the game needs to give it that extra drama and story. Larry was such a well written character even though people might just view him as a raging psychopathy and I hope we can also build on Becca's personality.

  • Becca was just trying to be tough in a bad situation. She admitted that she didn't like the situation, but she wanted the safety which the group provided and at that point Stephanie had betrayed her friends and was a threat for the survival of the entire group.

Of the two, I think Clem's personality would win out. Becca responds out of fear, something Clem understands and copes with better.

  • And...? Even if she backs out after saying it, it's still wrong. Stephanie was her friend, Shel's friend, hell, EVERYONE'S friend. Even Roman, the guy who's advocating it, doesn't seem to want to do it. Becca's first though is "Let's shoot that bitch." I choose to shoot Stephanie, but I took no pleasure in doing it. Becca almost seems like she's been waiting for it, despite wussing out if you give her the chance. That's not cool. She's stupid, irrepsonsible, and cold hearted. I'm surprised she never got herself killed during her little "adventures" going through the fence in back. I can assume that the only reason Shel puts up with her is ebcause they're family.

  • She's a kid growing up in a shitty world. Impossible to say how that could shape your personality.

  • She also attacks Bonnie for no reason whatsoever. If Bonnie lies to Leland, Becca accues her of being a liar. If she tells him the truth, little bitch tells her to get real and stop telling the truth all the time. Hilarious!

Of course, Clem is the most likeable character ever.

It is ok to not like Becca. Let's face it, teenagers can be hard to have around. Because they tend to be bratty and whatnot. So Becca gets on the nerves, too. I just found that hating her, and wanting to shoot her in the face, is a little much. She's not worse than the average teenager.

  • Yeah, that's what teenagers do. I am not saying Becca is a delightful person. But I don't think that she deserves the hard feelings of people wanting to shoot her in the face.
