Pre-order S2, when will credit card be charged?

Will it be charged upon release like normal webshops do with physical goods, or immediately?

Also, did or didn’t season 1 have the same offer regarding a physical disc? I vaguely recall people complaining that it didn’t, but I’m not sure. I was late to the party, and bought the game between ep 4 and 5, so I wouldn’t know.

(oh, and what happened to the old forums?)

Anyway, looking forward to season 2, although I’m having technical problems, so I’m not sure if I can actually play it upon release. I do hope you fixed things on the technical side though.. And I hope you’ve moved the DLC data to the installation folder instead of the user folder on the C: drive..

    1) If you're pre-ordering from Telltale, then you should be charged up-front.
    2) Yes, Season 1 had a DVD you could get if you bought the game through Telltale, much the same as Season 2. It's not available at the moment due to the new site, but it will be once the store offers physical items again.
    3) The foru-COMMUNITY changed about 2 months ago. It's... it's been a rough changeover, I won't lie, but most people seem to have settled in now.

    Ah thanks. It’s a timing thing.. If the game comes out in December, I’d prefer to have to pay for it in December, as I have things lined up already for November. Although I see mention of an actual November release, in which case it wouldn’t matter. I think I’ll just risk it.

    Clarification: we did not do a free end-of-season DVD for people who purchased The Walking Dead: Season One from the Telltale online store. There WILL, however, be a DVD for Season Two.

    We do have a Game of the Year retail disc edition for Season One coming out in North America this month for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, but that's different to the free end-of-season DVD you're talking about.
