Do you think our Clementine will be able to disrespect our Lees memory.

edited November 2013 in The Walking Dead
  1. Our Clementine can rip up Lee photos and put it in the camp fire.

  2. Our Clementine can pick not to listen and/or remember anything our Lee told her.

  3. If Our Clementine find people that she knew in season 1 like Kenny or Molly. Our Clementine can tell lies about our Lee.

I hope Telltale will not let our Clementine even pick to disrespect our Lees memory. This would make me sad

  • I'll let you know when the game is released.

  • Ok, my guess is you can't really do taht to the photo, but the otehr stuff yes, you play as Clem so you can do whatever you want kill people or not for example, and I'm guessing you can lie about lee's faith, unless that's important to the story, so TT problably won't let you

  • It seems like she may try to forget lee, so I would understand the whole ripping up the photo thing but I think she would remember what he told her

  • How well could you a play a Lee Everett who despised and wanted to get rid of Clementine at the first opportunity?

That's probably about how well you'll be able to play a Clementine who hates Lee and treats his memory like dirt. That is to say, not very well at all.

  • Personally I don't even understand how it will be realised. Why Clementine most be bad only because the player want to do smth bad? I mean player=Clementine right? So, what the reason that little angel can turn into a villain? It's not logical. There are only way to realising "devil" Clem: change response options, depending on how Lee raised Clementine in season 1. I mean some players who teached Clem to be a kind and mercy, (like I did) these players will not be able to be bad in Season 2, and Vice versa.

  • I don't see that happening, she saw Lee as a pseudo-father figure after she lost her real dad, I believe she cared greatly for Lee and took his advice to heart.

  • I hope your right. I don't want Telltale to mess up season 1 ending by having Clementine disrespect Lee.

  • I guess has we are playing as CLem you will be able to make ger disrespect or not what Lee did ;)

  • If so, why would telltale do that? Lee gave up his life to save Clementine.

  • I am going out on a limb and saying the 'evil Clem' choices will not be as bad as some of the things Lee could do, stabbing a man with a pitchfork and telling a group member to go fuck themselves is rather likely to not be a option.

  • True, but im talking about how much Clementine loves Lee as a father, not killing.

  • I don't see how they can make that work and be convincing, I could be underestimating Telltale but I don't see that working.

  • You don't see how what can't work ? Clementine and Lee relationship was season 1. If they can't show how Clementine love and miss him, then season 1 will mean less.

  • I hope not, but I'm hoping not for this, but Telltale might add a feature where in some choices you can choose to disrespect Lee somehow, just a guess though, and sometimes people like to mess around in the game after they're done with the game. C:

  • she should remember him not disrespect him

  • Ask yourself, if there will be options to disrespect Lee, are you really going choose it?

  • Yeah.

I hope she does, if she doesn't I might even quit the game tbh. xD

  • How can she possibly meet Kenny while he's dead since season 1? Or do you mean, she will meet his after-life remains roaming somewhere.

  • Yeah of course, there's always that one person. :c

  • It would depend on Lee's personality in S1, don't you think? Let's suppose the player imports a save where Lee was just a flat-out unapologetic douche. Would Clementine really want to dwell on him at all?

  • We actually don't know if he's dead or alive, you never know. :P

  • I don't see a reason why Clementine would forget about Lee and walk her own path. We know from Episode Five. This would ruin her character.

  • Depending on your choices, like if your Lee was the king of assholes who always treated Clem like shit and did many horrible stuff, Clem will be happy that Lee is dead in season 2.

  • I agree with you. If Clementine took her own path it would not make sense because season 1 ending.

  • Well, even we played Lee as a jackass Clementine still saw him as a father-figure.

  • Clementine loved Lee as a father figure in season 1 no matter what you did to her.

  • Exactly! The most I think would happen is Clem has a more "pessimistic" side where her responses could be more about spite or at the most discipline oriented. Becca would be a decent example of this, only decent however.

  • You just can't hate Lee, even if he did some bad choices. He will still comfort Clementine if sad or scared. :3

  • ^^ :D

  • End of the day Clementine is a computer generated character voiced by a real person who might be nothing like her.

That said, if the writers are good then Clementine is designed to have her own opinions as she "grows up" and disagrees with Lee about some things despite he is already dead in a season 2.

  • She should have her opinion, but some of them should be opinions Lee told her.
