Possible Season 2 spoilers: Clem, Shel, Becca Bonnie, Kenny, and Lily
I posted this as a reply in another thread, but I feel deserves it's own discussion. The theory operates under the assumptions that:
1) Lily and Kenny survived their disappearances.
2) Tavia's group finds both of them.
Let me know if you think this theory works and/or would make a good episode (or part of one), the likelihood of seeing something like this in game, and if you enjoy reading the theory in general.
Alright guys, if this choice does make it into season 2, what situation do you think would bring it about? Maybe both end up at Tavia's settlement and someone (Bonnie?) gets murdered and Clem has to help decide which of them is responsible because no one would suspect a kid snooping around and they don't want anyone to panic. Most evidence would probably point to Kenny since it would make the decision more difficult on the majority, maybe initially withdrawals appear to have incapacitated Bonnie and someone kills her fearing reanimation. Maybe Lily hates Bonnie (thinks she's weak, a resource drain, finds out Bonnie's group stole from others etc.) Kenny's cap is found nearby (making it look like the Larry in the locker situation for Kenny, but also implicating Lily at the same time). In the end, the person Clem thinks is responsible is sentenced to death. "We're looking for good people," and exiling a murderer could bring about his/her revenge on the community later. So they kill him/her. Of course in the end it will end up being neither of them. Maybe Kenny and she had been hooking up, lonely after losing Katjaa and Duck, and he forgot his hat and her death was perhaps suicide over what she did to Leland's wife? Becca finds out she was one of the 'bandits' that tore her group apart? Angry Leland? but once the truth comes out it will be too late.
Let's assume that it is Becca who kills Bonnie, Becca is then also killed by Tavia's group. This makes Clem feel unsafe, guilty for a friend's death (wrongly accusing Lily/Kenny) and Shel feels betrayed by Tavia so they leave together for the next episode...
In the determinant case that Shel and Becca didn't leave with Tavia, it was a suicide and Clem leaves alone only to run into Shel who has recently lost Becca to walkers, so the next episode starts the same with Shel and Clem together.

It's an interesting theory indeed, my only beef with it is I think Becca will definitely outlast Shel... on the chance one of them has to die that is.
I really like it.. would make you think hard and not want to choose wrong and would definitely play with your emotions like telltale is so good at. Nice theory

no, seriously: Bonnie is the only person joining Tavia no matter what, howcome you brought up Shel & Becca?
I agree Shel is nice and all but Becca will outlast as she is the more complicated character.
Yeah my imagination is a bit of a curse lol. I brought them up because we played as Shel the longest in 400 Days, and I'd put forth that there's got to be a good reason for that.
Bonnie is important because she always goes with Tavia no matter what you do as her. But maybe thats just so she can be killed off or something more. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
As for Kenny and Lilly I would prefer if Kenny stayed dead. People need to just let him die already. Yeah it's totally possible that he is alive but running into Clem again is a little silly if you ask me. Lilly was my favourite character from Season One so I really really really want her to return, I'm pretty sure she will. I think that her meeting up with Clem again seems a little bit more believable than Kenny. Thats just my opinion.

Hmm.. it's an interesting theory but I think Bonnie's the wrong choice if someone is going to be murdered. Maybe it's because I like Bonnie and don't really care about the others mentioned (aside from Clemmy ofcourse.) but I've always had it in my head she'll be the surprise survivor (Maybe not surviving the whole season but longer than the other 400 day characters.) *because she's seen as weak *but in actual fact is stronger because of everything her body's been through. Her story is set before Shel's and she's clearly known Dee and Leland a while at this point as they are responsible for her recovery and drug addiction treatment doesn't just happen over night, it's a long process, so I really can't see her being a bandit and my Bonnie was honest with Leland and he came with me so I can't see her committing suicide or Leland being angry.
If anyone was going to be murdered, I'd rather have Shel be murdered to give Becca a wake up call/reality check that is very much needed. Becca's annoying but I can't see Telltale killing her off so I hope she'll learn alot from Clem but there needs to be an event - like the loss of Shel - to trigger it.
She will outlast her because shes a child.

I referred to Bonnie as a bandit in Becca's eyes because Leland's wife stole from Shel's group, and if she were to find out, there'd probably be trouble. I rather liked her as well, which means, if I've learned anything about the Walking Dead, that her days are numbered.
I wish that were the case, but look at the Duane, Sophia, Duck, Ben(ish), etc..
I hope Christa and Omid make an appearance too! Why didn't they find Clem like Lee asked them (determinant)? I really want to know what happened.
Yeah, unfortunately, it's really specific. I still think that something like this is likely though and it fits with how TTG tells stories.
I agree that his story should have ended where it did, not out of disliking the character, but his character came full circle and his story arc felt over. TTG's "exploring his fate" quote makes me think we'll see him again.
I'm also one of the few people who very much enjoyed Lily, and I think, because of the retcon, she still has more to her story than we've gotten so far and I look forward to learning it.
That does make more sense even though Bonnie was against Dee stealing, Becca doesn't seem to like Bonnie as it is so I doubt she'd listen. That said, if Bonnie was murdered. Becca would be my prime suspect. Hopefully Bonnie will be safe (or live at least) through season 2/most of it.
