Question about Save Files

I've bought and played the first season on steam. I've pre-ordered the second season now on this website, because I hate steam. Is it possible to use the save-files from the steam game for the second season ?

    The games files are in your computer I presume, they will probably be detected in season 2 d. Why do you not like steam? ;-;

    Because I'm living in Germany and Steam has a godawful costumer service there. I don't know how often I've had problems with it. I was completely unable to play TWD via steam on my Mac, had to install windows to get it running.

    Well... it's no secret that Macs aren't exactly used for gaming... :/

    Yeah, figured that out by myself xP
    Now I've got both systems on my macbook, OS X for working and university stuff and Windows for gaming.
    Hope the steam save-files from season 1 will work with the non-steamy season 2..
