Are Sean Vanaman and Gary Whitta still Writers?

edited November 2013 in The Walking Dead

Hello, I've just had a question which has been on my mind for quite a while now. The writer for 'Season 2 - Episode 6: All That Remains' seems to be Nick Breckon, one of the writers from 400 Days.

Now let me just emphasize I am in no way displeased with the current staff at Telltale, I think they're great writers, I'm not saying Season 2 will suck with/without both writers Gary Whitta and Sean Vanaman but it's just a question.

Are they going to be writing for Season 2? Is Sean Vanaman still the lead writer?

That is my question, and I'd just like an explanation on to whether its yes, no or simply not confirmed/not known.

Thank you.

  • Not sure about Gary Whitta but Sean Vanaman actually left Telltale a little while ago to form his own indie company called Campo Santo. He reportedly helped to plan out the story in Season 2 before he left though.

Considering Gary wrote Vince's story in 400 Days, I would assume that he's still involved with season two to some extent. And yeah, as DomeWing333 stated, Sean Vanaman as well as Jake Rodkin left Telltale after mapping out the over-arching season 2 story.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not Sean!
