Yeah, i think so probably be the most tragic thing ever. Really its so hard to just be a happy go lucky guy in this situation which is why I didnt trust him really at first. Kind of feel guilty about that now
People who are used to the series could probably agree with me here: In the walking dead world, everyone dies eventually(and it happens pretty fast) it's just how you die, and what you managed to do before you died or if you died to a cause. Many of these times it's basically screentime or heroic death, you choose which is the better.
It depends on how long he's going to be with us. If he's with us past Episode 1, then probably, yeah. If he leaves for one reason or another by the end, then I think that will be the last we see of him, and barring future appearances, will survive.
clem is going to survive to at least the finale of season 2 which is a minimum of 9 episodes. the 10th being questionable if ttg kill her off..(which some say isn't going to happen)..
My guess would be that scene is a flashback to right before Omid dies that you might get to playthrough before it jumps ahead to clem being alone. I'd say off chance of the flashback being Clem somehow getting completely separated from Omid (and the rest of whatever the group consists of) but that seems like a longshot. I'm going to go with that is the lead in flashback scene to show what happened after season 1 before skipping ahead. Since clem is the main character this season it would seem odd to have one or two parental figures around, at least for very long.
I REALLY don't want him to, I mean. Who doesn't like Omid ? Always cheering up everyone and can get the job done when it needs to be done (he didn't panic and pulled his weight during the zombie attack in Episode 5 even with his legged injured badly) and he's an overall great guy there's no denying it.
But this is The Walking Dead, there's no telling if he'll live longer than 1 episode, if he'll die in a miserable way or if he'll go out with a bang.

In Robert Kirkman's zombie universe, it's pretty much an unspoken rule that you either die horribly, or turn into a miserable asshole. Hopefully we'll find a way to avoid both fates with Clementine, but all bets are off as far as anyone who isn't the PC goes.

Probably. Surviving 8 episodes would be well over series life expectancy. Though he could leave for some other reason.

i have a bad feeling that Omid will do a Kenny and die saving Christa, i hope it doesn't happen but that's what i think is most likely.

Yeah that is a fair point, but Clementine is now the series signature character and probably the exception rather than the rule.
