Honestly, all of this whining just makes you sound like you think that you're entitled to someone else's art, and I'm ashamed to be part of the same fan base.
Telltale owes you absolutely nothing, and all of the whining in the world isn't going to make them go any faster.
That'd be lovely, actually. Hearing a bunch of negativity and whining because someone isn't creating art on the schedule you want them to create it isn't really something that makes reading these forums any more pleasant.
I love that the Telltale community really doesn't support opinions in any way unless they're positive. That's good to know. I don't need to come around here anymore. I'm just venting my frustration.

Honestly, even one of the most emotionally evocative and intelligent video games that I've ever played seems to have a few entitled whiners screaming bloody murder about a company that doesn't want to make a promise they can't keep, so I definitely don't hold out much hope for any other communities being any better.
All I can do is take comfort in knowing that at least it's a very small (if very vocal) minority.
So once again. Here I am further proving my point. Unless you're positive, you're not supposed to post here. No one is allowed to have any negative criticism of how they work at all. I get excited for the game to come out, two months pass and my hype is totally dead, a new trailer comes out and I'm siked but still no confirmation of whether or not it's coming out the following week or not. So my hype has died again. I don't know if I should be excited and see that it's coming in a few days or whether or not I should just try and forget about it until it comes out. Rockstar did a similar thing with GTA V where they hyped you up then said nothing for months on end. By the time the game came out, I didn't even care.
That'd be lovely, actually. Hearing a bunch of negativity and whining because someone isn't creating art on the schedule you want them to create it isn't really something that makes reading these forums any more pleasant.
A video game company refused to make promises until they were sure that they could keep those promises, so that justifies taking their product without paying for it?
Telltale. When game is released i will say to myself "soon i will buy this game". Then after finishing epizode "soon i will buy this game". Af… moreter playing all epizodes i will say "very soon i will buy this game". Then if its as good or better then 1 season i might buy this game. Very soon.
I'm mostly just making fun of the fact that you sound like you can barely string together a coherent sentence.
See, I figure that your inab… moreility to even express yourself clearly (or explain yourself clearly when questioned) is a sign that you're probably not very good at logic. Like, you haven't actually tried to think things through. So basically, I'm deriving a bit of enjoyment from helping to draw out more evidence that this is the case, and that your sad whining comes from a place of entitlement and ignorance.
I really appreciate that you're willing to work so hard to prove me right, and I look forward to more of it in the near future.

Except "Duke Nukem Forever". That took, what, over 15 years to come out? Season 2 will be out, just how "soon" is soon is the real question … moreat his point. I'm guessing it will be out either next week or after the first of the year. I really doubt TTG will release a game the week of Christmas or between Christmas and New Years. I think we should start preparing ourselves to a January or February release at this point.
I'm new on these forums, but I'm not new to the series. I'm well aware that there are delays that are inevitable in creating art. That's exactly why Telltale knows not to overpromise and give release dates that they might miss, but rather to make sure that they know that the game can come out on a certain date before they promise it.
I actually understand a little of what this particular creative process is like, and how easy it is for a thousand different things to go wrong. Plus, I'm not an entitled, whiny kid who thinks that he has the right to other people's work the moment that I think it should be ready. So I'm quite understanding of the delays that might happen, and I'm perfectly content to wait until Telltale has a product that they're ready to stand behind and put out onto the market.
I got a feeling you're new to this community hmm?
Just you wait when they do similar stuff they did with Season One, and you will be on my level faster than you'll know.
By complaining about us, complaing. You have become what you dislike, just different subject. We have a right voice our point of views. As Obama said at the UN. "People say bad stuff about me everyday, and I will defend their right to say it. So yea thank you very much.
Other news
Tellt ale dropped the ball with this one didn't they, are they trying become massively rich, it's a game not a cure to cancer.

They didn't refuse to promise 'soon'... (slowly grabs pistol in pocket, looks meaningfully into the general direction of the TTG offices, walks towards them growling)
A video game company refused to make promises until they were sure that they could keep those promises, so that justifies taking their product without paying for it?
That's some good logic right there.
But I look at it this way, the absence makes my heart grow fonder (we are spoiled by having episodic games tailored to us). More importantly, when telltale experiments with other franchises, they learn more McGuiverisms/engineering/story telling tricks to the trade. SO when the real franchise, the Walking Dead, comes along, TellTale games hammers it a job well done... or would you rather have The Walking Dead their most brilliant franchise have extra bugs in it that could have been ironed out?
I got a feeling you're new to this community hmm?

Well, assuming you and Sketchy are done high-fiving each other, I'll explain.
Firstly, please don't patronize me. I get "testy" whenever I feel I'm being mobbed, which is pretty much what's going down right now. I've seen this pattern emerge before elsewhere, and it's emerging again here, right down to the gently mocking posts. Second, I've found these sort of incidents almost always end with the "flamed" target being kicked out as opposed to the actual "flamers", so I'd better bail before the same happens here.
Geez, someone's getting a bit testy lately. I'd have thought that the recent influx of Season 2 info would have calmed you down a tad...And suppose I did give a damn about the personal safety of SketchyGalore's head.
I love that the Telltale community really doesn't support opinions in any way unless they're positive. That's good to know. I don't need to come around here anymore. I'm just venting my frustration.
No, not really. Because I don't have a problem with complaints in general. I have a problem with entitlement and people who think that others are there to work on their timetable. It's much more specific than "Don't complain."
Complaining is fine. Illogical, entitled flailing bothers me, though. Because Telltale owes us absolutely nothing as far as a schedule is concerned. Even for those of us who've bought season passes, they don't owe us a release date. Even if it doesn't end up making a Fall 2013 release, they still don't owe us a damned thing.
They're making art, and some of the finest art in the industry. Banging on their door and whining isn't going to get it into our hands any sooner, and no one's entitled to a damned thing.
No offense.Deep respect.

I'm in a full disorganization at the moment. We all have experience of their "coming soon" announcements, and NONE of them have showed to be good so far.
This isn't Duke Nukem. This is Tell Tale they detail in great pride, how it releases every four to six weeks. It's even on the FAQ, written WHEN to expect the game. I didn't pay my money to that game for 15 years. I gave it to tell tale, compare something 15 years ago to a modern era is not the same.
I'm not going talk much on this, I said my peace, not giving anyone chance ban me again for what I believe is not exactly equal to their own.
Except "Duke Nukem Forever". That took, what, over 15 years to come out? Season 2 will be out, just how "soon" is soon is the real question … moreat his point. I feel what you feel my bro,
But I look at it this way, the absence makes my heart grow fonder (we are spoiled by having episodic games tai… morelored to us).
Difficult = not impossible. And I stated several times it's just my opinion and that I don't speak for the masses. If you don't like my opinion, fine with me. You can get off me now, good night.
Once again you are wrong. Please stop it. And yes. You are generalising. This sentence right here:
Call me feminist but I think the medi… moreeval theme might be difficult to be implemented appealing for female gamers for reasons I listed above.
Why should I call you a feminist. You seem to be degrading women in most of what you say, so feminist isn't really the right word. And I don't have a problem with you generalising. What is the problem is that you are just plain wrong. It is not difficult - at all - to make medievel themes appealing for women. Check out The White Queen. Many women like Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, The Tudors and even Spartacus.
YOU don't like fantasy in medievel settings. YOU. From there - to saying that it will be difficult to make fantasy in medievel settings appealing to women there is a long stupid leap. If you inform yourself on the subject matter, then you would understand that women don't have a problem with fantasy in medievel settings.
Once again. Stop being wrong.
Criticism is just fine and doesn't bother me at all.
Entitled whining about how a game company should run things exactly the way you want and make promises that they might not be able to keep, on the other hand, just seems utterly ridiculous.
So once again. Here I am further proving my point. Unless you're positive, you're not supposed to post here. No one is allowed to have any neg… moreative criticism of how they work at all. I don't know if the people who disagree with me think that I'm a troll and I hate Telltale but that's absolutely not the case. They're by far the best studio for writing and story telling. But I would really appreciate if they updated the fans more often. We get these little hints and 'Coming Soon' but after two months you start to look at the line of...'What does coming soon mean?' And define 'soon'. I'm only saying I don't want Telltale to go down the path of Rockstar and not even care about their fanbase.
Right..because they so flawless till now and 3 month delay on wolf, AFTER...they took our money and secured those sales for 2014 to make their stock price go up. They took the money, then said wait three months. Not much a preoder.
Given the rumored dates, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume "very soon" is next week. Telltale usually waits to confirm dates themselves because they have to wait until they get release date info from Microsoft/Sony/etc.
Define 'Coming Soon'. What do you think of when you hear that and do you consider their promise kept on that? Bear in mind, this was around Halloween when we heard 'Coming Soon' and Christmas is within two weeks.
Criticism is just fine and doesn't bother me at all.
Entitled whining about how a game company should run things exactly the way you want and make promises that they might not be able to keep, on the other hand, just seems utterly ridiculous.
Expect your not entitled. If you pay for it, it becomes earned benefits. The very second we put money down their game in full they owed us. How do you think their in business if not forus customers, they try keep us happy because they're giving us a service which we PAID.
I bet you, the game is done. they been touring the road with major company's while here we sit in deafening silence. Is this good service to you. Their on a wild tour with finished copy and giving us a clip on youtube. It was...over hype. Banging might not get us it faster but our voices are heard, unhappy.
I think they owe us everything, if no one bought their games the'd be back at 9-5. I know you like them, be reasonable. When they give us game for free. It's an entitlement. .

We heard 'coming soon' two months ago, and 'coming very soon' today. There's already an Xbox release date on the 18th, and Steam is saying it's going to be the 17th.
But the fact is that Telltale can't be 100% sure. Why would they give us a date that they're not 100% sure about? Wouldn't you be more upset by a missed release date than you would be by them saying nothing? If they said the 17th and it didn't come out until the 24th, wouldn't that be worse than what they're doing now?
Define 'Coming Soon'. What do you think of when you hear that and do you consider their promise kept on that? Bear in mind, this was around Halloween when we heard 'Coming Soon' and Christmas is within two weeks.
They owe us a game on the release date that they promised us, nothing more or less.
They owe us nothing regarding that release date, however. This entitled "You owe me something you never promised because I gave you money" mentality is utterly ridiculous.

Go back to sleep and find your own fanbase of your qualities sir.
Ooops, my bad. I'd always assumed that she had possession of it, but that Duck had been the one to originally draw it. That just makes it worse.
You can't possibly think that this sounds clever.

I don't think so.

The Telltale apologists.
They don't work on the episode anymore. The play testing is done, they're waiting for their partners. It can't get better or worse at present.
Tellsoon Games.
The Telltale apologists have started to become more annoying than the frustrated people.
