Season 2 Theory and Breakdown!
I suggest you read this only if you have seen the season 2 ep.1 trailer, only because it would be MORE understandable and make more sense...
i think the picture with Clementine and Omid was before what we saw in the whole trailer
1) because in the picture it was obviously day time
2) in the trailer it was obviously night time
3) i think the hoodie that Clementine had, was taken off later by the new people we see (maybe antagonist) because (i hope not ) but maybe they...did some inappropriate stuff with her (MAYBE)
4) i think those new people in the trailer are going to make us think they are nice people but are later going to keep Clementine and Omid hostage and then later Clem escapes to the barn (or Omid is being kept in the house and Clem in the barn) then later on goes to find Omid in the house (as seen in a picture/trailer scene she was sneaking in the house) and as seen in another scene, Omid had a kinda surprised look and was peeping out of some room or something (maybe looking at clem coming to save him or surprised she is still alive?)
5) maybe later Clem finds Omid dead and she escaped and then that guy...Winston? attacks her and then she makes it through the water and finds a lonely place in the woods and that's when she is looking at Lee's picture
6) when Clementine is being attacked, where is Omid? yeah thought so...

No matter what, Telltale won't let a 9 year old getting raped. That'd be a very risky move and even if they did, maybe someone would sue TTG for indecent pictures of a minor.

Well, just look at Rockstar Games. Almost if not all of their games are controversial one way or another. It can only be a good thing for them because it's free publicity! But you do have a point, letting a minor get raped CAN be too risky for the company.

also they wouldn't kill off christa, omid and kenny becuse they are clems only connection to lee and they have been with her the longest. they can kill them in episode 3 at the least

I'd say that it's pretty likely that Kenny is alive, if only for the reason that they said our choices from Season 1 would matter (on top of the man we saw in the recent trailer, of course). Since we're playing as Clem, we can do whatever we want, Season 1 choices be damned, so we need another link to Season 1. Kenny is the best choice for that. He's the only (possibly) living character that was with Lee for nearly every second of Season One, the only one who saw almost all of Lee's major choices. Lilly, if she returns, knows nothing that happened past Episode 3. Christa and Omid, inversely, have no idea what happened BEFORE Episode 3.
Of course, if it IS Kenny we saw, he's just as likely as anyone else to die (for real) this season. More likely, in fact. Given exactly how much shit he was in when he disappeared in Savannah, if it is him, he has probably used up whatever luck he had left that carried him through Season 1. If he isn't already dead, he'll be six feet under by the time Season 2 Episode 5 rolls around, if not sooner.
While I GUESS I agree with you, Rockstar are a completely different company with completely different things in mind of TellTale.In Rockstar games you expect sex and violence and drugs, ect. In TellTale games (hah), you don't expect RAPE. At least I don't at all.

I'm not comparing the two companies, I was just using Rockstar Games as an example. My main point was how controversy can gain you free publicity, but can also get you sued too.

What I think is Kenny could be Alive or Dead by choices made in S1EP5,
If you left Kenny in the Alleyway he is most definitely dead, there is no way of getting out A situation like that.
But, Kenny could definitely of survived, The Building held so many escape options and Kenny is pretty much A hardened Veteran of the Apocalypse.
A thing that concerns me is Omid, In the S2E1 trailer Christa was never seen and Omid was not exactly his usual cocky-self, but this may be the cause of seeing Clementine alive...

I don't know if the trailer is chronological. What if Clem falls into the river and THEN meets Christa and Omid? Because wouldn't it be smart to cut the trailer up in parts and then shuffle them around? That way they can still keep the viewer guessing while playing the game.

Well, the game trying to bring out emotions in gamers and believability, so seeing a pre-teen girl getting raped is horrible to watch but would bring emotions out of anyone. Not saying the will but it would accomplish a goal to bring out emotions in players if seeing someone they cared about hurt.

My theory is that Episode 1 will be kind of a reintroduction the Clementine and her journey to find a save location or to find Omid and Christa (depending) on what Lee told her in Season 1 Episode 5. She will encounter new characters and old friends and will mostly focus on her deciding on what is both ethical and unethical in tense situations. Perhaps on which new characters can be trusted?
I also reckon Episode 1 may end with Clementine and maybe some other characters encountering the group from 400 days which will lead into the tie in.

Im sorry, call me crazy, but I haven't played the whole 400 days. I don't really care much about spoilers and will be finishing soon these days before season 2. How was his behavior? He talked about rape?
I don't think he mentioned rape he just made sexual references. His behavior is hmm...unpredictable. Anyways you'll see I feel if it type anymore ill ruin it for ya.
I was actually thinking she would meet Tavia's group and the 400 Days characters that left by the seasons end. And then you would get a scatter of references to 400 Days choices you've made throughout.
