I LOVE The Walking Dead
i wanted to make this post about all the reasons i love The Walking Dead game! in no particular order
1) the story is amazing and heartwarming
2) its addicting (in a good way)
3) super fun!
4) telltale made Clementine too cute
5) Lee is such a great father (you know what i mean)
6) it doesn't have a cheesy ending ("everybody made it alive and Clementine found her parents")
7) I most definitely love the relationship that grew between Clem and Lee
trust me, i have waay more but i can't write more! how about your reasons?! list them in the comments!

3)Ben's Multiple Screw-Ups
4)Leaving Lilly behind
There's too many but I'm too lazy to post them all.
i soo agree with all of those haha
same here!
1)Choice and consequences(why I also love Mass Effect, Dragon Age and The Elder Scrolls, etc) 2)Black protagonists 3)Great story 4)Bring outs emotions 5)Keeps you wanting more.
Yeah me and my sister were talking about how we like that there is black protagonist as well! I like the other reasons too!
Its uniqueness, never played a game like this before. 1)impacts of you choices, 2)focus on the characters and not ZOMBIES ZOMBIES EVERYWHERE, 3) a black protagonist , 4) great story arc ,5) way the game can influence or manipulate my emotions/choice.
Ha just noticed that the people who mentioned a "black protagonist" got disliked(including me). Is it wrong to appreciate having a different raced protagonist from white(who are the most common in media). I want some diverse protagonist people. I don't care if that's in the form of Asian, Latino, African, Islander, or Middle Eastern. Class dismissed.
Well... To make less of a list, I love the game for its subtleties, themes, and what seems to be starting a new trend (to my knowledge, anyways) of big gruff men taking care of little girls, initially not particularly caring for one another, but growing onto each other eventually.
Unfortunately, the first thing I said? The subtleties? They seem to be largely nonexistent in the comic. There are only two things I like about the comic so far: Glenn, and the fact that it makes you feel so bad for these characters that you fuckin hate.
Preach! Haha you are so right! I got a dislike too and I like how there is a black protagonist too and I don't care if I get a dislike. Im glad telltale didn't put a cheesy common white dude as a protagonist!
All I have to say to that is virtual high five
I dunno. It just doesn't seem like something to love a game for, though I didn't downvote, myself.
I think of it as a bonus. Like i said earlier the "white protagonist" is so common in media so I appreciate a change here and there. Gotta represent. Lol.
It just sems kinda odd, to think of race of the main character as something that adds to a game...
I find it odd how theirs multiple cultures in the world especially in America but only a certain majority is in the spotlight. Perhaps I got a bias in my own sense cause I'm not white myself. All I ask is diversity. This is a diverse world as this is a diverse community.
Definitely. But it's not something to rejoice over.
i agree...with @CartoonMischief. now that it's mentioned, i very much think its like a bonus as well! in America, we have freedom of speech and we can say whatever we want. people have their own opinion about everything! games, movies, shows, clothes, EVERYTHING especially The Walking Dead since you can make different choices and decisions throughout the game. nobody is "rejoicing" over the fact that there is a black protagonist, we are just saying we like the fact and find it interesting of telltale to make it uncheesy and more realistic by making the character of a different authenticity other than white. The Walking Dead game actually has different from rednecks, black, and even Korean!
*Shrug
I suppose so.
