Editing of Season 1
Has anyone else noticed that TT edited the first season rather heavily? You cannot interact with nearly as many items, Clem doesn't swear in Episode 2 if you do in Episode 1, you can't beat the St. John brother nearly as heavily, and (this might have been available earlier but I did not realize it) you can shoot him instead of kicking him into the electric fence (which I thought was the only option). You also have less time and fewer options when attempting to save Shawn or Duck. The list goes on, really.

What two versions of the game are you comparing? That is my assumption of what you're doing based on you've stated.
I only have the PC version.

Really? Cause I haven't played Season 1 in a long while. I shot Andy.
Okay so that brings me to the question of what are you comparing the game to for your thoughts of it being edited? These two comments in particular:

You can't beat the St. John brother nearly as heavily compared to who? exactly...is what im trying to figure out. I have only played the xbox 360 version and wasn't sure if there were big version differences.
Clem only says "Shit" in Episode 2 nothing more. ^^

You can still shoot Andy. When Lee headbutts Andy on to the ground and gets on top of him, you have to not punch him at all. Andy will get up and struggle with Lee before Lee pushes him into the electric fence. This only stuns Andy, and if you choose to kill him, Lee will take Lilly's sniper rifle and shoot Andy in the head.
There isn't, they are exactly the same. You can shoot Andy if you don't punch him and then he get on top of you. Then you push him into the fence and pick up a gun. You can interact with exactly the same amount of items from the day that game came out and it does not differ from console to PC. I have played it on my PC and my friends Xbox and from what I remember they don't change in any way.

Whether Clem swears or not depends on whether your make a habit of swearing in front of her. Iirc, she swears again if you don't give her a row after the first time, but I could be remembering incorrectly,

@Bucktooth, what I am saying is that when I first got Season 1 (I got it when Episode 2 had been released), there were certain things you could do that I noticed were unavailable when I re-played the game. After I finished Episode 5, I decided to re-play the season, and noticed that there were some changes made throughout. One such thing I noticed was that Lee automatically says "manure" in the barn in Episode 1, that you can't interact with the same things throughout the episodes, certain conversations being railroaded (such as the barn), and the difference in how Episode 2 can end.
I'm being nitpicky as hell, but these are just little things I've noticed.
I apologize for being condescending about it, I guess I ruled that out as a possibility. I will have to play through the beginning again because that interests me now and will also annoy me a little if true, thanks for the info regardless.

Ben, I guess that makes sense; I always beat Andy to a pulp to the point that Carley screamed at me to stop. The past few times I've re-played Season 2, I haven't been able to repeat the same level of violence. Maybe I'm not clicking fast enough? I'll find out soon, since I'm re-playing the season right now.
Also noticed another difference: the amount of times you can bash Sandra's head in with the hammer has been toned down.

i also recall lee being able to be the one to smash Larry's face in if you convo Kenny right"wrong". i tried many ways to redo it but never successful.
Any one know the correct convo answers to attain that scene as it was the hook line and sinker for me to keep playing over and over.
I can't remember if I walked away or shoved his nasty ass into the fence. I think I walked but, I'll have to wait and see if it comes up in Season 2 to find out.
