Also, I figured Omid and Christa were going to be out of the picture shortly, but damn that Omid shooting was abrupt. He was out before the five minute mark, practically.

I could, but why would you want me to? It'll have a lot more impact if you play it for yourself, and even if you can't do that right now, it'll certainly be happening shortly in the future.
I don't know why people who are, at most, hours or (for console gamers) maybe a day away from playing for themselves want to even read a thread like this. I could've given away just about anything.
You are in the stalls of a bathroom as Clementine when a teenage girl comes in. She is raiding your bag and forces you to give her your hat. You have various options to talk to her as she is searching in your bag Omid comes in behind, he sneaking in looking at the girl as she hasn't noticed him yet then the door slams, the girl jumps and fires the trigger. Omid grabs his chest as blood covers it and falls to the floor. Christa runs in as the girl apologizes Christa shoots her ( Damn right stupid fucking bitch ) and drops to the floor crying and hoping Omid is ok. Fucking heartbreaking and so unexpected!
16 Months Later.
Christa and Clem are cooking a rodent on a fire in the forest as it rains heavily. There is no sign of Crista's child and Clem and her are distant. Christa goes off to get fire wood whilst Clem lights up the fire some more. Hearing noises, she investigates and finds three men interrogating Christa and asking where her group is. Clem can either distract the bandits or sneak away, but either way Christa's fate is left ambigious. Clem fights off one pursuer and he is eaten by a zombie, before she falls in the river.
Clem awakens during the day down river. She searches the forest and finds a friendly dog named Sam. Together they stumble upon an abandoned camp. After some searching, Clem finds a tin of baked beans still in tact. As she eats, she either feeds Sam (up until this point friendly), or refuses. Either way, as Clem tries to get her food back Sam attacks and tries to kill her. Fighting him off, she is bitten by Sam (note: He's not a zombie/infected). Impaled along some tent pegs, Clem can either kill or leave him to slowly die.
Clem loses conciousness besides some rocks. Weak, she is unable to avoid a group of zombies and is almost bitten, before two men arrive and fight them off, grabbing Clem and fleeing. The two introduce themselves as Luke and Pete. They seem friendly enough, but Luke notices Clem's bite and drops her to the ground. Clem can argue it was a dog, but both just decide to take her to their doctor. Arriving at a house in the woods, Clem is introduced to the rest of the group, including Carlos the doctor. The group argues that since they don't know if it was a dog bite or Clem is infected they lock her in a shed. If she turns, they kill her (obviously), if she survives the night they let her in. Clem argues she'll die of her bite wound (heavily bleeding) anyway but they refuse to waste supplies.
Finding a break in the shed, Clem sneaks inside the house and begins to steal supplies. In the process she meets and is helped by Carlos' young, naive, daughter. Using antiseptic, a needle and some thread, Clem painfully seals her bite wound. A zombie sneaks in and attacks her, Clem fighting it off which causes enough room for the group to investigate. Carlos realises she can't be infected because she would have had a fever and the group let her stay. Over some food, Luke and Clem discuss her history, including Lee. We discover Pete's nephew was so aggressive towards Clem because his mother was killed by a person who was bitten and they allowed to treat.
The next day, Pete and his newphew go out fishing and come across scores of bodies by the river side, gunned down. As the three investigate, Clem finds her backpack next to one of the men who ambushed Christa earlier. As he dies, she is alerted to zombies advancing on both Pete and his nephew. She can only save one.

This should totally go on the wiki as a summary for episode 1 of season two.
I almost teared up when Omid was shot (He was my favorite) and I almost teared up when Clem admitted she thinks she killed Lee by running away. I REALLY did not like what happened to Omid. And I REALLY wanted to shoot that fucking kid myself, but it makes sense that Christa would be more upset.
I had a bad feeling they'd kill off Omid/Christa in the beginning. It irks me because it feels like there's so little continuity between the games and that we're starting from a clean slate. Kill off every S1 survivor, then we get a whole new batch for S2... then kill off every S2 survivor to make way for S3s, etc, etc.
I understand it's meant to be a Grimdark universe but it still ticked me off. I'd rather they got seperated but I knew Omid/Christa were doomed as soon as they showed Clem in the wilds by herself.
