"You don't own the game" message when trying to play 1st episode

Hi,

after all this server shananigans I finally got through only to see the message that I do not own the game, even though I pre-ordered it ... what the hell, guys ?

Anyone having the same problem ?

    I just installed the game and all of a sudden i get the message 'you dont own the game' and i just got it at gamestop now it says i dont own the game?

    Well, next time I'll be smarter and rather drop a few quid more and get the TT products on steam :)

    Exactly same issue. I purchased through the Telltale store to support the devs. This is why we buy games through steam. My mistake.

    Same problem here... First you withhold the goods, now you accuse us of theft? Come on Telltale. Fix this. Like, NOW! OR the attic zombie gets it!

    You'd think after all this time Telltale would be able to get a handle on whether or not you own the game. This literally happened with every single Season One release.

    Also working for me, though now it doesn't seem to attempt to authenticate at all, unless that information is already saved in the registry.

    @Puzzlebox mentioned this elsewhere:

    I've been notified that everyone should be able to authenticate now. Please let us know here if you're still having issues, we'll probably have the tech team check them out individually.

    today around 2:30 PM it was repaired. I could lunch the game.
