Let's talk about the baby-sized elephant in the room (spoilers for season 2)
What the hell happened to Christa's baby? We see that she was heavily pregnant, then 16 months pass (more than enough time for her to give birth) and then...nothing. No baby, no mention of an abortion, or a miscarriage, or adopting it out to another group, what happened?

Scumbag Telltale - Has a well established,liked,and well written pregnant character from Season 1 - Kills the baby off without explanation and introduces the new,previously unknown,ugly and bad brand new pregnant character.
My guess is emotional stress from seeing Omid die caused a miscarriage. You can see it in her eyes just how emotionally drained she is, and her tone towards Clem about how she needs to learn basic survival skills like kindling a fire are pretty good indications that she's been emotionally drained.
Everyone knows that ugly characters are just the absolute worst.

What usually happens when a heavily pregnant woman tries to give birth without assistance in the middle of the wilderness to a child she can't adequately feed or clothe or shelter from the increasingly cold weather?
Agree, this seems most likely to me as well. Though there's also a chance that she had the baby and then it was somehow ripped from her by walkers or something similarly horrifying. It's rare that you hope for a miscarriage because it's less traumatic.
Well, so much for Kenny Jr Jr (or would that be Kenny III?) I was going to suggest that the child be named after him (if a boy), but I never got the chance. I just wish that the kid had LIVED. If nothing else, it would have been a nice, little bright spot in a world full of shit.
That's exactly why the baby had to be ripped away from us. :P

I'm sure what happened to her baby will be revealed in due time. I doubt they want to give everything away initially. Personally, I like that they didn't give an explanation right away. There would be no 'surprise' value to it if they did. I'm almost certain they're not going to leave it open ended forever.
Weird, I thought Christa was having a baby human, not a baby elephant. XP
