Why in the hell did they already kill...

  • During that scene, I realized exactly how much tougher that Clem is than me. And I'm twice her age. I was cringing during the whole thing. It was just... dear God, it was almost as traumatic for me as it was for her...

That stitches scene was as visceral as anything from S1. I literally felt my butthole pucker up at that. Horrifying.

  • Letting facts speak for themselves is almost always better. The time lapse, and Christa no longer being pregnant speak eloquently and deliver a brisk gut-punch. It's actually hard for writers to resist the temptation to over-explain.

I thought Omid's death was okay (not saying I'm glad he's dead though), but it was just as senseless as the death of Carley or Doug in Episode 3. I just didn't think that he'd be dead so quickly. Actually, if I had to pick one person who would have survived, it would have been him. He was just so happy and light-hearted. If anything, I thought they would have had him survive just so he could turn into a bitter, cynical shell of his former self.

Then in comes that bitch who tries to rob Clem. I'm glad Christa shot her, actually. He deserved better. Rest in Peace, Bromid. The scary part is, though, that this is just the beginning. Like others have said before, if it's this bad now, just wait until the final Episode...

  • i get that they were trying to go for the cringe factor from when Lee cut off his arm, but it didn't compare for me. a needle verses an axe cutting through bone. not the same.

  • So true Araron! I agree with all 10. Also I had to restart at one point in the game because my mouse indicator disappeared and couldn't select a dialogue option. I liked the dialogue selection options from Season 1 when clicking on 1-4 was also available.

1.Because there is absolutely no indication about what happened and what was going on with characters,Omid and Christa, between S1 and S2.

  • Maybe Omid is still alive? He wasn't shot in a vital organ (I mean, come on, if it wasn't in the heart or in the head, how else would you die?). Unless Christa shot him in the head with the rifle THINKING that he was dead.

  • If Clementine had grabbed the gun BEFORE hiding, maybe Omid would still be alive. Then again, she was a little girl.

  • My reaction to Omid's death

  • The game escalated quiiite quickly..

.... He was shot in the chest. It probably hit one of his lung. You can die a lot of ways aside from being shot in the head or heart. Then they jumped ahead 16 months and he was nowhere to be seen with Christa and Clementine camping. There's even an option you can say as clementine saying " I miss omid" and "Omid was going to teach me how to tend a fire" or something along those lines. If he was alive he'd have been healed up and been sitting with them. He wasn't there, he died.

  • Considering the fact that Telltale includes some sort of realism (besides the obvious), a gunshot won't kill you that easily. Hell, you can take 20 rounds and live to tell the tale (No pun intended), unless they're in the head. Really, all a gunshot will do is give you muscular problems and possible make your limb weaker.

  • a bit lackluster is what they were going for, it was to create controversy and shock value. How could some lowly thief in a toilet kill a survivor of season 1 right? the fact that soooooooo many people are butthurt over this means that it was effective- It caused a sense of frustration and hopelessness in the player which perfectly fits into how the first half (if not the entirety)of the episode is with clementine. If every character got some big momentous death scene it would feel very forced and cheapen the story overall.

I agree. I found it a bit odd that a random person could enter the room and then also be Omid's death. Bit lackluster, especially after everything they went trough.

  • Well , i play 2nd time hope there is a way to save him , or distract that crazy woman holding clem's gun , but its pointless ...

  • You had that problem too? Hated that. I have to agree about Season 1's dialogue system, because having the option to just press the number was so much better.

  • They needed to conpletely redo the opening segment it was overall dumb. Omid turns his ead? why? thats unrealistically dumb.

The only unique part was when the guilt-ridden women three her hands up even though it would definately spell her death

  • The point is , Telltale wants to bring some sadness into this season , because , if they just killed him in the first one , that would be too much for one season .

I don't know what reality you live in where a person can take 20 bullets any where in their body except the head and receive no advanced medical treatment and then walk away with just muscle problems and a weakened limb but I would love to join you there.

  • Omid was on edge sneaking up on the girl who had a gun pointed right at Clementine. The door slamming startled him so he turned his head. It wasn't unrealistic.

  • i knew omid was gonna die as soon as they showed that picture i just did not think it was gonna happen so fast. for some reason i thought the episode was gonna be a how we got here type story where clem has a flash back of sorts showing how she found omid and christa.

  • you are using the comic as toilet paper.

OMG what a stupid thread -_- Did you ever read a Walking Dead comic book in your fucking life ??? EVERYONE DIES, THERE IS NO HAPPY END, THAT'S THE POINT OF THE WHOLE FUCKING THING................

  • If you're a writer you know has no rhythm nor coherence is totally misspelled, has no control over time and space.

  • Bad writing ? Hardly when are you people gonna learn this is the walking dead its not a happy sappy freaking fairy tell or teeny bopper drama its a dark and gritty drama.Characters are gonna die and the last i seen and heard this season about clementine not omid or krista its about a little girl trying to survive.

  • Its there video games, Telltale went right into it and toyed with our emotions. And I think what they did was done pretty good though I think maybe he could have died in the shed with the walker instead of right away in the bathroom. Just an idea.

  • Trust me, it hurts like hell.

  • It's a dark and gritty drama where characters die. But there also needs to be purpose to the characters other than dying for shock and 'feels' value within a few episodes. The more they're developed and the longer they stick around, the more we care about them. And getting rid of characters before their time is up is just a mistake. I would like for a group of characters to actually matter and stick around for a few seasons but it seems like every single character (except Clementine) will be dead by the end of the current season. So if you think about it, everything you've been through and everything you'll go through will be pointless. Because everyone will die and nothing was accomplished. They keep saying about choice and for the most part, Telltale usually has the choice and we don't. I would like to have more say in a character's death and how it might be able to be avoided. And no I don't mean for them to die two episodes later...(cough...Carley...cough). I know it's difficult for the writers to keep this all together with all the choices but if they could accomplish that then The Walking Dead would be even more special than it already is.

  • We've all done it one time or another, I remember being pissed when they announced 2 games at the VGX I went on a big ranting spree. Later I calmed down on here and said sorry. Its cool dude no harm done. :)

  • Or start by the camp fire and have both Omid and Christa there and when Winston and the group are attacking them, you would have the choice between saving Omid or Christa. Then one or the other runs away presumably to be seen later in the season.

  • I'm not going to lie , I teared up a little bit .. & Christa is going through it the most.

  • My mouth was wide open when he died. When I saw Christ and Omid with Clem, I thought "I'm so happy they're back with her" and then BAM he's gone. I shed some tears. I actually teared up 3 times during this episode. I absolutely hated Omid's death, but I thought this episode was well done. It went by so fast.

  • Dont call him pewdiepie. This guy ks so annoying. -.-

  • I really liked that intro, they had to remind us how dangerous is the world of TWD, they created tension and surprise with that scene, and also that helped to the development of Christa as an even more interesting character. In my opinion, they have to remain faithful to the world Robert Kirkman has created, and he has stated many times that in the end everybody is gonna die, even Rick himself, and he had already killed many famous characters in the comics, so the videogames have to go trough the same path. Yes, in the end even Clementine will die too, but i don´t think it will be in this Season, maybe in the next one.

  • Yeah i'm with you there. I REALLY thought they'd last long enough...I'm still wondering what happened to Christa's baby...

It happens pretty quickly too. I never cared for Omid or Christa, but I was JUST starting to warm to them when the episode started and then BOOM. Too bad, but I think there's hope for Christa still.

  • I really like him too and didn't like the way he died ... when he received the gunshot I felt that in my chest :'(

  • Oh fuck I forgot about that! ;-;

apt meme and this is the 'buffer episode' holy shit it's going to be a tsunami of feels by the end...

  • it was unrealistic he could have ran at her and he didnt have to die like that, hope they didnt kill christa too
