Season 1 on Steam, Season 2 from TTG

Hey guys, I have a quick question.
I got The Walking Dead Season 1 on Steam and Season 2 from the TellTale website, will my decisions from Season 1 still be counted in for Season 2? Or would i have to play Season 2 on Steam / Season 1 from TT?

    You can use the Season One save files from Steam on the Telltale Games version. Season Two automatically searches for Season One saves when you first start the game, so it should find your Steam saves and import the choices you made automatically.
