SE 2 messed up on SE1 ep 2

edited December 2013 in The Walking Dead

If you remember starting the game and it imports your season 1 playthrough and reveals all your choices , it shows ep 2 lee not killing the cannibal..did anyone kill the cannibal and showed it or not? i think season 2 didn't recognize season 1 ep 2 aND MADE OUR CHOICE

Everything reflected my choices on two different saves.

  • sooo you didnt kill the cannibal brother?

  • It didn't recognise pews killing lee at the end.... And me killing stranger. There is some bugs.

  • I didn't kill Danny,so I'm good.

  • so the only glitch for me is not killing danny..sigh oh well doesnt matter

I killed Danny but the game showed that I didn't. It's a bug.

I think that it shows that if you didn't kill both brothers. I killed Danny but I spared Andy. Still a bug, however.

  • How the hell is it not an important episode? Remember what happened?

  • I dont talk about the glitch, i talk about the whole episode. Lots of stuff happened there that is important.

  • i understand but i know realize the danny thing was not important so i dont have to worry. Basically the recap for me did everything right except that part and i was wondering if anyone encountered that?

  • Yeah, I killed Danny too (and spared Andy) and it showed that I didn't but meh, it's not an important choice :)

  • I killed him and it showed it. And on my second play through I picked a save where I didn't kill him and it showed that I didn't. So no problems for me.

  • Not important?! What if other choices are changed too? You won't continue STORY from s1, YOUR story, YOUR decisions doesn't matter. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS!

  • Did you kill only Danny or both of the cannibals?

I killed both in one play through and let both live in another. Both my choices were shown properly. I also play on Xbox not PC if that matters.

  • Other choices were okay (killing stranger, shooting Lee, etc.) and since I'm not the only one with this problem I assume it's just a glitch or something like that :)

  • There is the problem. If you don't kill both, it shows that you didn't kill Danny, although you did. Still a bug, however. Please Telltale, note this and fix it when you can.

  • I see. Yeah, that sucks.

  • Well, I think that the game only recognizes if you killed both of the brothers or not. So if you spared one it's like you spared both of them. Oh well, I hope that that's the only choice that's messed up... :)

  • I had this too. I remember killing Danny, but the recap showed Lee sparing him. Hope they fix this sometime in the future.

Happened to me as well. I don't recall the names at this point (edit: I guess it was Danny and Andy, judging from previous comments), I killed Danny with the pitch fork and walked away from Andy at the end of the S1 episode. "Previously On" shows me sparing Danny.

Won't bother me unless Danny ends up popping up again in Season 2.

  • I think the distinction between Clementine seeing you butcher someone or not felt pretty important.

  • Same. Killed Danny but not Andy, "Previously" recap showed that I spared Danny. These choices are important in Clem's character development and I hope this bug gets patched.

  • Hell yes.
