How will 400 Days choices matter..

...when most of the game takes place over 400 days into the apocalypse?!

Sorry if I sound rant-y, but I was expecting 400D choices to have plenty of impact; then I got to '16 months later'. Now I guess all that will change is who's at Tavia's camp, which does seem like a big change, but it's just not quite what I was expecting/hoping. Does anyone else here feel this way?

  • Yeah season 2 episode 1 was a let down, doubt they can redo the magic from season 1

  • A let down ? Why ?

  • Just wait, it will all be explained. My gut feeling tells me this Harker guy and Tavia, something went wrong in a community (400 days characters come in here).

  • Vote up to this comment.

    Aye,they won't.

  • Just a question. At the recap when you start Episode 1 of Season 2, are you or are you not meant to see any footage of what happened in your 400 days playthrough? Because I saw nothing of what happened in 400 days in my playthrough and I'm curious if this is meant to be the case.

  • Just not as well written, season 1 episode 1 was much more interesting, emotional and exciting.

It also had better characters and a better story.

  • I didn't see anything either. Only Lee's/Clem's point of view

  • Ah, okay. Nice to have that cleared up, mate.

No I didn't feel that way because I am sure that at some point we will run into them.

  • They also made me kill a dog :(

  • For me it was a disappointment 5/10. Others feel the same way as the review thread most give it lower then s1.

Just feels badly written, characters, story.. a cash in on s1 success

People just wait and give the series time Episode 1 of season 1 was terrible to those with a lack of patience and tolerance(I still have trouble getting people into the game because of how badly paced and bland the first episode of season 1 was...), but as the series build up it truly became something special. This season could be the same way. The point is TO SERIOUSLY HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE AND GIVE IT TIME.

  • Lol guys didnt u see Vince in the preview of Episode 2? :)

  • I THOUGHT that was him...though I felt like maybe I was being a bit racist...though I am Asian myself so I think it's okay.

  • I also remember seeing bonnie hiding behind a wheel or something like that

  • I don't see it.. you mean the guy with the hood?

  • Not sure if trolling, or I have bad memory/attention span.

  • Yeah I'm fairly sure that's this Carver guy they're talking about. And not only that, they look pretty different from each other.

  • Excuse me I almost forget you already finished the entire season !

  • It was pretty awesome to see Romans dead body though.

  • I agree with you that the characters just suck, other than Luke and Pete, but everything else I like more. The dog, omids death, and the cliffhanger beat the shit out of the deaths in S1 EP1 in my opinion.

  • You can't compare one episode of season 2 to whole season 1. Telltales walking dead games did not get super popular on the first episode of season 1 alone but it took about 3-4 for it to gain some steam and even more so with the finale that got the best scores of all the episodes.

Wait and see what the whole season has to offer before you start to blame. Playing S01E01 on it's own i did not think it was too special either when it first came out, but as a whole combined with all the rest? It's quite good.

  • What's wrong with the characters though? They seem fine to me.Give it some time and they'll sink in just like season one's did.

  • Eddie is back in Episode 9: Amid the Ruins maybe before that tho....

And I'm thinking the guy in Ep 2 is Vince. He looks alot like him(look at the episode 2 slide)

  • "Episode 9"?
Please call the episodes by "Season 2: Ep X", in this case, S2Ep4. It rustles my jimmies when people drop the whole Season thing and keep on counting as if it's still S1.

  • All the 400 days characters will be mix in throughout the season.

  • Somebody noted the diverse changing slide of Episode 4. For some the silhouette on Clem's right (our left) looks a bit like Kenny or Nick, for others it changes to someone with Vince's hair.
